| Hannes... ;-; Why did Ymir go back to save them? It's really stupid. Kinda crazy how little time the second season spans, like it's just a few days and already so much has happened. Also this episode had some really beautiful shots. |

| the amount of chaos in this episode broke records for me. while the "solution" was somewhat a normal shounen power up, it at least something that feels natural with the story mystery about Eren part in Reiner and Berthold people plan. the fact that Ymir decided to go with Reiner kinda circle back this entire arc . . . again. we still got non of the characters to tell the the titan mysteries they know about. I would want to say it's alright considering the realizm this is reflecting, but at this point it does kinda frustuating that the main characters can't just get hold any of non-eren human titan alive. the episode kinda summarise up the revelation of this arc as "titans are human", which is kind of a thing that I suspected long ago. I mean, was there anyone suspecting this isn't the case after Eren being titan? overall season production and direction wise, I feel it was better than season 1. and I'm glad I'm bing watching this because those kind of slow burn mystery fantasies are better bing watching than seasonal. it must be very very very frustrating watching this seasonal. wait week for a single episode and then entire year/s for the next seasons. much like with season 1 this is 10/10 series. I feel I would change the scores after watching the entire series, but for now this is reflecting what I think of this series. I just love slow burn mysteries like this. |
