| Me? I'm just an average guy who's a hero for justice.. I recently moved to North Carolina, US. Started watching anime 2 years back. I had my chemistry final exam the next day and really didn't feel like studying, so I decided to catch up on Naruto which I watched as a kid back in 2005 on TV. And ended up marathoning the entire thing. I've been watching anime since then.. :p Oh and about the chemistry exam, I passed! |

| My name is Jop, 23 years old and I'm from the Netherlands. I've been watching anime for little over a year now. I graduated from highschool in 2009, got a shitty low-level college degree in 2011, which holds absolutely no meaning whatsoever and I've been working shitty jobs up to 2014 to finally get accepted in the Army and left right after basic training in 2015 and now I'm working as a rack operator (building netshelters for servers). I still reside at my parents, because my job doesn't pay enough to allow me to go solo IRL. Now, I'm pretty much addicted to watching anime and honestly I really don't mind, it's been a blast so far. |

| Hello Everyone,(sorry for the long post I had no idea I had this much to write about) So let me start with how i joined this club because I kind of think its interesting. I love to keep track off things. i keep track of movies, restaurants or cities I ve been to so i decided to do this with anime as well and Mal looked like a good platform where I can keep track and explore new things. I joined MAL and was looking for new things to watch and I have no idea how it happened but I ended up on TheSkiesAwakes profile. It looked like to me that we liked common anime since the only things I watched up to that point was toradora and Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. I decided to follow the account so I can come back and find new things. No follow button so I added him as friend and he is still the only friend I have :D and he was really helpful as well. When I was looking to the clubs I saw this one. I realized it was created by him and they were looking for members so I decided to join. At first I wasn’t planning on becoming a part of the forum since I don’t know much about anime. Then I really started to like the spirit in this club so I decided to say hi. I don’t really know much about anime but I can help you with other things so feel free to ask me anything. You can call me Ray. I m from Turkey but currently studying at Champaign Illinois. I always loved animation movies and cartoons but for some reason never watched anime. I m glad I didn’t because it feels great to explore it now. Its like learning how to read and there is so many books you can read. My younger sister is obsessed with anime and manga. She draws as well and wanna study animation and design. She even started learning Japanese. She cares about my opinion more then she should and sees me as her mentor. In order to understand her more I decided it was time to watch anime. So I ve been binge watching anime for the past weeks. I cant stop, I have two exams this week and there is nothing I can do. I don’t regret it though. | Hi everyone !! I'm a 23 yo boy and I'm from Italy :) . As you can see my anime list is pretty short and I've just recently started watching anime again since my teenage years . There are some anime that I haven't added to my list beacuse I watched them many years ago ( especially v popular series like case closed and other shounen) . I'm still unsure about what kind of anime I like but as of now I'd say mostly mistery, sci-fi, fantasy and drama. Talking about me I'm kinda shy and introverted but also friendly and I also enjoy watching a lot of movies ! |

| I guess I'm not the only one starting their anime watching with Attack on titan :p. Hello everybody, I'm Batman. I've been watching anime since 2015, joined MAL a few months ago to keep track. I've only know a spare few people who watch anime, 2 being my cousins with pretty much exactly the same taste (excluding romance stuff) and I've grown tired of only having them to discuss with, so I've intended to look for a club here to actually have people with different tastes and points of view to talk to. Surprisingly, most clubs seem to have forum games as the (pretty much) only active element, which doesn't interest me very much. But the threads looked interesting over here. I don't take myself very seriously, so I wont start any fights here hopefully. Unless you call me old, then we might have a problem. I'm definitely not old, I don't even own a car anymore. I prefer romance, action, sci-fi, VR, fantasy, mecha, gore (narly), fish, comedy, seinen, shounen, adventure anime. Pretty much anything goes really. Non-anime related stuff: I work. Daytime I help saving the planet while helping people in need who have to get to their jobs and loved ones in a dignified and economical manner. I also study physics. Nighttime I save pretty ladies and seniors from thugs wearing a mask. I like fishing, whisky, RTT, TBS and retro games, writing ((about myself) too much obviously), TV violence, Natalie Portman and much more. I'm looking forward to spend some time here, I'll do my best to fit in. Please take care of me. |
