MAL in general makes little to no sense with the overall scores. For example Jinrui only having a 7.59 when it has more merit than anything else airing right now, or SAO being at 8.66 implies that it's better than Cardcaptor Sakura, K-ON, Aria the Natural, Kemono no Souja Erin, Nodame Cantabile, Katanagatari, Ghost in the Shell SAC, Utena, Planetes, and Evangelion. I could go on; it's absolutely hilarious.

Yep, that was my main complaint at first. The melodrama was much too overbearing and there was a complete lack of comedy or reason for the viewer to care for or empathize with the characters, aside from 'sad things are happening so you should feel sad'. The first arc at least wrapped up nicely but then it went right back to ridiculous melodrama immediately afterwards which undermined all the character development from the previous episodes.
I haven't watched the latest few episodes but it has the potential to drop to a 3. |

I wrote it after the first episode, when indeed it seemed similar to K-ON in a few ways. Things have unfortunately changed since and become something of extremely poor quality in Kokoro Connect's case, to the point where I don't even feel like watching it any more.
In any case it's deleted now so that /a/ can stop pestering me about it. |

I followed your advice about CCCP.
Okay, so it's a little better. But my only problem now is that the video runs much slower than the audio... TT_TT Are there any settings that can fix this? |

<3 FF9 is definitely my favorite too; I love Melodies of Life as well. Zidane is pretty awesome :) Haha, if I have a son I'm totally gonna name him that.
You're right though, Kefkiruja is kind of weird :P Sephiroth is still a beast though, albeit overrated. |

I forgot to add that if you plan to give up on the VN (for any reason) go watch FZ and forget or watch the adaptions of FSN later..
