Unfortunately they lost but that's just one of life's disappointments.
Martian Successor Nadesico is one of those series that really thrives on their parodies and the humor is at level that you either "get it" and love the series or you don't and it becomes a bit uninteresting. The series gets much better as it progresses (I say at least 10 episodes) but if you're having a hard time enjoying it then it might not be to your taste. |

We don't know if we'll have American Football this year since there's currently a Lockout in place. The Owners and Players can't agree on a new financial deal, so there might not be a football season. |

I think list is pretty balanced although they span many different genres, they all have a romance element to them:
Blue Gender Gate Keepers Martian Successor Nadesico Midori no Hibi Mugen no Ryvius Nurarihyon no Mago Over Drive RahXephon Sora no Manimani Steel Angel Kurumi This Ugly Yet Beautiful World Utawarerumono And I know you say no Ecchi but these two titles might be worth a watch: Onegai Twins Onegai Teacher Also, I haven't had the chance to take a look at teh final episode given that the episode is somewhere on a DVD in my room and I'm a bit too lazy to search for it right now, plus there's the Heat game happening right now... I'll try to find the episode sometime this week. |

It's been quite a few years since I've watched the series and I honest don't remember the latter portion of the final episode. Heck, I didn't even remember Yayoi piloting Halycon until you just pointed it out. I would probably need to rewatch the final episode to answer that question.

I'll stop short of saying it's random, but it isn't any character that I'm familiar with. Who knows, she might be a VN, game or manga character that I haven't come across.

If you like Tenchi spin-offs, I'd recommend Dual Parallel adventure.
It's an older series when compared to Isekai but it's pretty good. |

I'm pretty sure I gave that series a "7" as well. The pacing near the end felt a bit too rushed and there can easily be a second season based on how it ended.

Blacksmith started off pretty decent, but the pacing towards the end was much too quick for my taste. There's also the issue of the lack of character development for the main character Cecily and a few cheap plot devices.
Saying all that, I still think you might enjoy it. It's one of those series that you won't be able to make an accurate assessment until you watched an episode or two to get a feel for it. |

Well, I have a few titles that fit the categories present in Prism Ark:
11eyes Scrapped Princess Utawarerumono Escaflowne Night Wizard Elemental Gelade Seiken no Blacksmith Shukufuku no Campanella ^Now, some of those titles aren't without flaws, and at a couple (storyline-wise) disappointed me. But they're often hit or miss, so, You'll probably find a title or two that you'll end up liking from that list. Also, you should give these random titles a chance: Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de/They are my Noble Masters Kamisama Kazoku And I'm surprised that you haven't seen The Law of Ueki. It's a pretty good shounen series. |
