Denpa-teki na Kanojo

WTF did I just watch, I mean I don't even know how to describe this, its weird in a good way but man each episode hits hard.
Each episode is unique in its main story objective while still flowing nicely between the two with a nice chunk of character development so the characters really don't feel shallow at all even with a runtime of only around an hour.
The art style is not as sharp with some weird face proportions but overall doesn't affect that much.

I really recommend everyone to watch this though its written extremely good with amazing plot twists and just seller progression, and the ... quotes man, just OMG.

Unlike most anime this one at least tries to be a bit shocking rather than holding itself back trying not to ruffle any feathers.
It reminds me of the game Rule of Rose and early Higurashi seasons.
The main issue is that it's merely a 2 episode introduction each covering a different little murder mystery involving the main character duo of overdone schoolkids, so there's only the start of a story here of bizarre denpa derangement that doesn't have a chance to actually go anywhere for an overarching story, and without that it's mostly just schlock horror. So really it's LN/manga-bait.
The English title is a bit confusing ... because really denpa should've been left untranslated as denpa is more widely known as a genre meaning 'mental derangement horror' based on modern urban legend conspiracies about cell-towers' electromagnetic waves sending secret signals/causing people to go crazy and whatnot like that 5G conspiracist stuff for example. The radio-waves label is just 1 example with the intended meaning of denpa pointing to all those related phenomena as a whole. Hence why radio-waves don't actually have any relevance to either episode despite it being denpa.
The other issue is that it's quite low budget art/animation.

4/10 (where 5/10 is average)

Easiest way to explain this should would be if expection bar was low as it possible could be , like its on the fucking ground , Denpa-teki na Kanojo sees this, gives a smirky look and proceeds to start digging tunnel underneath the bar.
Denpa-teki na Kanojo is one of hollowest work of anime i have ever watched to the point that i was pretty sure this was a troll show made deliberately to be absolute trash and i feel like idiot for falling for low level bait.

moving on , this show is listed as mystery thriller, school although it should say ... "complete dumpster trash".

Listen show then cast consists of 4 characters and 2 are protagonists and one is killed, its doesnt take collective deducing power of L, Sherlock and every detective in existence to guess who murder might fucking be.

thriller , well yes if in about 40 minutes of watching there are bout 2 frames showing dead bodies counts as thriller . So you not going to be getting any juvenile violence to entertain you.


ah yes school . Well school part is just excuse to have characters be high schoolers and so that sho can go "booooh look at this high schoolers being guilty and making yandere faces booohh so scaaary'

I'll be frank unless your 6 or your definition of horror includes shitily edited ghost videos from 2010 youtube, this show is one of laziest works of fiction you will come across and I advise to go watch something else like Shiki
