Creating and Managing Bridge Payment Links

Creating a Payment Link

Payment Links are created within CXP Bridge through the Process PayIn - Create Payment Link selection on the left side of the navigation. Once opened, the Enter Payment Link Information form (see screenshot below) will be presented with the available options for you to select and input the necessary details for creating the link. Once created, a window will be displayed (see screenshot below) with the payment link URL that you may quickly copy for use, otherwise you may send the link to the intended recipient or take other actions through the Payment Link management grid.

  • Only the fields with red asterisks are required for creating the Payment Link.
  • The link expiration can be set either for a future date or for a specific number of hours (up to 24hrs). Please note you cannot set a future date and time.
  • Use of the Approval Documents section will prompt the cardholder to agree to the uploaded document(s) as a requirement to submit payment.
    • Up to 10 files can be uploaded per Payment Link.
    • File size limit is 10 MB.
    • File name cannot exceed 200 characters.
    • File type is limited to PDF.

Managing Payment Links

Payment Links are managed through the Payment Link grid, selected on the left side of the Bridge Navigation. All Payment Links created by the organization will be shown along with their status.

You can take several actions within the grid to help manage your program.

Filtering

Options to filter the results within the Payment Link grid are straight-forward and similar to other filter criteria within CXP Bridge. The possible selections represent values that are displayed on the grid and assist in easily locating specific results based on your need. Options include: Expiration Date Range, Name, Order Number, Status (Paid, Unpaid), Customer ID, and Amount Range.

As filters are applied, the display of payment links within the grid will be updated to match the selected criteria. Blue pills will also be visible, indicating the current filter options being applied. One additional way to quickly filter the results is through right clicking a valid entry, selecting "Filter", and the grid will update accordingly.

📘

After drilling into the detail of a specific payment link record, you can use your browser's "back" option to return to the grid with your filters still applied.

Copying

Certain data elements (Order Number, Name, and Customer ID) can be copied by right-clicking the value within the grid.

Paging

The Payment Link grid will default to displaying the 10 most recent results. You can use the arrow buttons at the bottom of the grid to navigate to the next or previous page of results, or use the numbered icons to jump to the beginning or end of the list. To increase the number of visible results on a grid page, select the dropdown next to “Show” and select one of the other pre-defined options (10, 25, 100).
