Workers' Committee

The first Workers' Committee of the University of the Algarve was elected on November 28, 2023, and took office on February 9, 2024.

Competences

The CTUAlg is responsible for exercising the attributions and competences that are recognized by law, other applicable rules and the statutes; developing permanent organizational work in order to achieve the just demands of the workers, democratically expressed by the collective will; promoting the socio-professional training of workers, contributing to the awareness of their rights and duties; and demanding that the UAlg scrupulously comply with the legislation concerning the workers and the institution.
