When you’re signed into your Nintendo Account, you can review, update, or delete your information. You can also submit a request for a copy of your information, ask us to update certain information on your behalf, or ask us to permanently delete all the information we hold about you. Instructions on how to do these things are below. If you do not have a Nintendo Account, and you would like to submit a request, please contact us by telephone at 1-855-822-9548. Either way, we will provide a response within 45 days, if possible. If we need more time, we will notify you. Please note that you will need to verify your identity when making any of these requests. If we need additional information to verify your identity, we will contact you to request that information. If we are unable to process your request, we will explain why in our response.
Ad Settings
We personalize our marketing communications and the advertisements we show to make them more interesting and useful to you. This personalized content may be delivered to you by Nintendo or on behalf of Nintendo by its third-party partners and service providers.

Promotional Emails
If you would like to modify your promotional e-mail settings, you can do so through your Nintendo Account settings. You can access your account settings by signing in at accounts.nintendo.com. You can also select “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of any promotional e-mail that you received from us.
Analytics
We collect, and share with our analytics partners, information about your use of and interaction with our services, including the Nintendo Account service, to perform various analytics. The analytics information we collect includes play reports, crash and error reports, your survey responses and similar usage information. This analytics information is used to optimize or improve our existing services (including Nintendo algorithms), develop new services, and provide you with enhanced functionality.

Friend Privacy Settings
You can control whether to receive friend suggestions and the information that may be visible to your friends about your use of our services. Please review the below instructions to ensure that you understand how to control friend suggestions and the information that may be visible to your friends.
Friend Suggestions
You have the ability to control whether friend suggestions are displayed to you when you are using our services. Go here to enable or disable these friend suggestions. Please note that if you enable friend suggestions, then you will similarly be displayed as a friend suggestion to other users as well.
Online Status
You can set whether friends can see your online status when you are online and using the Nintendo Switch. To control displaying or hiding your online status with friends, first click on the Account Holder’s page icon which is located on the upper left corner of the Nintendo Switch system’s home screen. From there, navigate to the User Settings on the left side of the screen and then go to Friend Settings. Here, you can control whether your online status is displayed to All Friends, Best Friends, or No One.
Recommendation Feature for Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2
When navigating across Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo Switch™ 2 system, under the ‘For You’ tab on the left side of the screen, you and your friends can get game recommendations based on service usage history, such as gameplay history and purchase history. To enable or disable this Recommendation Feature for Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2, you will need to modify your preferences as they relate to sharing your data with Nintendo for both Analytics and Targeted Advertisement purposes. For instance, to enable this Recommendation Feature for Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2, you will need to be opted-in to sharing your data with Nintendo under both the Analytics and Targeted Advertisement settings.
