المشكلة في الوطن العربي -على الاقل كما تبدو لي- تتكون من جزئين؛
الاول انه لدينا اعداد كبيرة من الناس الذين لا يقرؤون ابدا
اما الجزء الثاني فهو وجود اعداد ليست بالقليلة ولكنها تقرأ روايات وقصص واشْعَار فقط، وتلك امور لا تفيد في نهضة حضارية او فكرية او حقوقية. لقد انتج الوطن العربي في المئة وخمسين سنة الفائتة ما يقارب الالف شاعر ومئات من الروائين والقصصاصين ولم ينتج الا قلة قليلة من المصلحين والمفكرين والحقوقين.
الكلام السابق لا يعني بالضرورة ان الادب والشعر والقصص امور فارغة ولكن يجب ان لا تتصدر الساحة ونصيطر على المشهد
