The third collaboration of Academy Award nominee Keira Knightley with acclaimed director Joe Wright, following the award-winning boxoffice successes “Pride & Prejudice” and “Atonement,” is a bold, theatrical new vision of the epic story of love, adapted from Leo Tolstoy’s timeless novel by Academy Award winner Tom Stoppard (“Shakespeare in Love”). It opens 22 June 2012 for the US.

'Never Let Me Go' is the adaption of Kazuo Ishiguro novel, adapted for the screen by Alex Garland and directed by Mark Romanek. It stars Keira Knightley, Carey Mulligan, Andrew Garfield, Charlotte Rampling, Sally Hawkins, Nathalie Richard and Andrea Riseborough.

Set in an alternate England where a medical breakthrough has made it possible for people to live longer lives, though at the expense of others, it stars Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightley and Andrew Garfield as three young people who get caught up in a love triangle while coping with the fragility of their own lives.

Actress Keira Knightley is seen suffering a brutal assault in a new advertisement highlighting the issue of domestic violence.

The two minute TV and cinema ad, for the charity Women's Aid, shows the star being beaten by her partner after she returns home from a film set.

It is directed by Joe Wright, who worked with Knightley on Atonement.

Variety have news that Keira Knightley will star in the sci-fi thriller Never Let Me Go for Fox Searchlight Pictures based on the Kazuo Ishiguro novel. Mark Romanek will direct the cloning-themed film, which will also star Andrew Garfield and Carey Mulligan.

Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich are producing through their London-based DNA Films. Alex Garland, who wrote the screenplay, is producing as well. Film 4 is also involved as a producer. The film is set to shoot in April in London and Norfolk, England.
