Cracking Good

Sunday Funday.

Between 1942  1949 Virgil Parts was part of the regular line-up of the daily cartoon series vcalled Crackups. Hij usually made six cartoons a year, although his attendance was lower in the later war years and the early years after the war, probably because of his duties as an enlisted soldier. One my regular micro-fiche site, there is one paper who has most of the days of this series, although there are some gaps. I have been collecting all VIP cartoons from this line-up. Recently I reached 1947, which leaves us with quit e few to share. Later I will ad the other ones to this post.

Some I had Left Over In My Folder.

Saturday Leftover Day.One of the visitors complained about the size of the images in the last post. Admittingly, they are not the best quality, but they are rare a can be. Of course more (and often better cartoons can be found on my blog, if you follow the links. Here are some more cartoons from my file of leftovers (from various sources in various qualities), this time from Virgil Partch.
