I created a new domain on Open HSS and added new user, impu, impu through the web console. I am using an external Application server and only using the HSS portion of OpenIMS. When the AS sends a UDR, the HSS responds with successful UDA but the Sh-User-data is empty(Attached pcap). Do I need to add the mmtel profile information for this user somewhere? Where is this information for each subscriber stored? |

Hello, I am testing OpenIMSCore with IPSEC. I send a REGISTER request to OpenIMS with a Security-Client header attached. OpenIMS replies with 401 (Unauthorized) but a Security-Server header is missing from this message. I have ticked 'All' authentication schemes in the FHoSS portal. I have also enabled IPSEC in pcscf.cfg. What could be the problem? I have attached wireshark logs with this email. I have a problem when accessing to the HSS web interface. At first I already
successfully compiled and deployed the hss folder. Then I run the startup.sh
file by

It was successfully. Then when I open the web interface:

Hi Priyanka, sounds like a memory leak, which happen in Java too. The HSS should be sort of stateless wrt to number of registered users, with all state kept in the backend. So you can try and find out the cause by running a Java profiler/debugger and looking for still allocated variables after 10-20K registrations. Then try to change the code as to remove references to them and hopefully then that should allow the garbage collector free the memory. Sorry that I can't help you further, as these days I am working on a new platform. But hopefully the open source nature of the software would help. If you have patches, just let us know or ask for the rights to commit on sourceforge. Hi, We are using load generator to register a large number of users in openIMScore. But we are facing a issue, where after registering 25000 users HSS memory for java process as seen using top command goes around 1 GB and it stops processing further requests for registration of new users. We also tried to de-register users periodically but memory of HSS is not decreasing even after de-registration. We want to do lakhs of registration without restarting HSS. Hi Franz, The problem is solved. The issue was that in the hss_db some columns are missing. Therefore the OpenIMSCore cannot register UEs. The missing columns are include_register_request and include_register_response. This problem doesn't appear if you build debian package following the guide on the website.
