=== english => as Bogdan described a few days ago, there is a problem with the kaddressbook integration in Kraft on the KDE 4.6.x platform. The address lists remain empty even though kaddressbook shows addresses. The problem is caused by a bug in the nepomuk search engine in Akonadi. The attached patch for Akonadi fixes the problem. For openSUSE distributions the patch is already in openSUSE Build Service repository [1] KDE:Distro:Factory. Installations from that repo wont see the problem. I am sorry for any inconvenience, Klaas [1] http://en.opensuse.org/KDE_repositories |

Hi, Thank you for your answer. Nepomuk is running and working ok. I will try switching back to an older version of KDE on Kubuntu, and see if this happens. I see that it became usual for KDE 4.x releases to break backwards compatibility. Have a nice day, Bogdan Pe 10.03.2011 22:48, Klaas Freitag a scris: > Am Donnerstag, 10. I assume you checked the Nepomuk status in your KDE installation: Nepomuk must run (strigi for indexing is not needed). You can check that in KDE system settings, desktop search. Additionally there is a tool calld akonadiconsole which has to show you a "Nepomuk Contact Feeder". But apart from that, it seems that KDE 4.6 and maybe also 4.6.1 seem to have a change in the kdepimlibs which breaks the Kraft/KAddressbook integration and results in an empty contact list. I am experiencing the same issue currently with KDE 4.6.0 on openSUSE. I am already working with the KDE PIM people to get that fixed, by now I am quite lost. I will get back to you as soon as I know more. I am sorry for that, Klaas > > But Kraft does not show me contacts from there at all: in the initial > setup, the list is empty. Hi. I have a problem with Kraft 0.40, running under Linux Mint KDE 10, with KDE 4.6.1. I have the default Personal Address Book, which is also visible in KAddressBook just fine. But Kraft does not show me contacts from there at all: in the initial setup, the list is empty. Also, if I try to create a new document, there are no contacts listed. Any ideas what I could do? Thanks. Output when running in console: bogdan@bogdan-pc ~ $ kraft Object::connect: No such signal DocDigestView::currentItemChanged(QTreeWidgetItem*,QTreeWidgetItem*) Object::connect: No such signal SetupAssistant::slotButtonClicked(int) Object::connect: No such signal SetupAssistant::slotButtonClicked(int) QInotifyFileSystemWatcherEngine::addPaths: inotify_add_watch failed: No such file or directory QFileSystemWatcher: failed to add paths: /home/bogdan/.config/ibus/bus Bus::open: Can not get ibus-daemon's address. IBusInputContext::createInputContext: no connection to ibus-daemon QSqlDatabasePrivate::removeDatabase: connection 'qt_sql_default_connection' is still in use, all queries will cease to work. QSqlDatabasePrivate::addDatabase: duplicate connection name 'qt_sql_default_connection', old connection removed. kraft(6230)/kdecore (KConfigSkeleton) KCoreConfigSkeleton::writeConfig: QSqlDatabasePrivate::removeDatabase: connection 'qt_sql_default_connection' is still in use, all queries will cease to work. bogdan@bogdan-pc ~ $ |
