An easy way to deal with this is to assign your user ID rights to jphoto using sudo. If you have sudo on your distro, type visudo from root. This will bring up your sudoer file (which has to be edited using visudo). Add the following line to the section with the Command Alias' in it Cmnd_Alias JPHOTO=/usr/bin/jphoto (this assumes that's where you've put jphoto). Then, in the User Specification section, assign your user ID rights like this mirec ALL=NOPASSWD:JPHOTO This assumes your user id is mirec, if not, change it to whatever it is. Save the file. This should allow you to use jphoto as mirec with no request for a password. Cheers Cam _____________________________________________________________ ez2www.com Metasearch the Invisible Web.
