Pros: The biggest pro about OrderCounter is the accessibility of help right then and there with their support team. They have been able to solve any issue we've had with our POS system. You can tell their employees are very familiar with the software and the willingness to assist you is top notch. We had some issues with our kitchen printer and within 15 minutes the problem was resolved each time. The support team even called me a week later to check in to make sure we haven't had any other problems. The product itself has made our business run more efficient as well as give us the ability to offer new services like online ordering. I also really like how customizable the POS system is. All the adjustments are endless so you can really pin point how you want it to be and how you think it will make your business more efficient. OrderCounter POS does it all.
Cons: Only con I can really think about is if you are not somewhat technically inclined it may be a little difficult trying to understand and setup or update items on your menu. We also had some issues with our reports not lining up as far as totals since we introduced online ordering, but has been resolved!
Overall: Our experience with order counter has been great! From setting up our menu layout and payment setup to setting up online ordering it's all been great. We have yet to experience real downtimes with the OrderCounter system, just your typical internet outages. We are very satisfied with OrderCounter and plan on using it for a long time!

Pros: Ease of Use. Very Customizable. Changes to menu items can be made by a manager on the fly. Support is always there.
Cons: Some of the canned reports do not give us exactly what we really want, but there are enough to choose from to get the info by using two reports and viewing side by side.
Overall: We’ve been using OrderCounter POS for Twelve Years! We run a busy restaurant and this POS handles table service, take-out, kitchen printing, modifiers, and more. OrderCounter does all of that without lag or frustration. It’s intuitive for new employees, and powerful enough for us to get real insights into sales and labor.

What really sets them apart is the customer service. The team is responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares. Anytime we’ve had questions or needed a tweak, they’ve been there for us. It’s clear they understand what running a restaurant is like.

Pros: The reason I have been a customer for so long is because of the Great customer service, quality products and friendly customer service.
Cons: I am a 17-year customer. over that time there naturally are issues that come up with software. Order counter always fixes issues quickly with a friendly attitude from the techs.
Overall: This company is run by really nice, hardworking, conscientious and smart people. They have worked hard to build this company from the ground up. I trust and admire them.

Pros: I like just knowing it will work. i know that if i need something i can call and get anything i need quickly.
Cons: Wish i was kept more up to date when new features come out. I just found out on my own that i would pass credit card fees to the customer. wish they would have told me this before i called asking.
Overall: Great company. great people. Highly recommend. I like being about to work form home and do what i need to do without being there. i like the cost.

Pros: Staff is amazing!
This POS was not expensive.
Staff gets back to you promptly but sometimes have to send the issue to a senior rep.Cons: They couldn't get loyalty cards to work.
Sent tickets twice to kitchen.
Several problems when splitting checks.
Lost checks.
Onboarding was non existent.
Too many problems for something that should help in restaurants.Overall: I've been in business for over 20 years and don't recommend it!

Pros: The system includes every feature our clients are demanding.
Full in-house POS.
Great Support if you ask for help - LARGE network of willing partners!Cons: Some features take a little work to get just right (mostly because there are a lot of settings to go through).
Definitely NEED to have a partner to help with initial installation and setup...not a DIY system (at least for the initial setup)...Once its setup, its very easy to manage though.Overall: After dealing with many other systems (as an IT management team) and supporting other POS systems this one has really served our clients well. The support and development team from OrderCounter is top-notch, and they have never left me stranded on a client problem. We have made OrderCounter our go-to solution for POS.

Pros: Variety of reports and data storage on the cloud.
Cons: You may have to compare different reports with the same data.
If you want to use the report data to create journal entries, you will need to do a copy-paste special feature on Excel.Overall: They have a large variety of reports. Tech support is good. The data storage on the cloud is perfect for today's reporting requirements.
