"Need more improvement on charge back and connect with DoorDash, GrubHub or Uber Eats"

    Posted 2022-06-08

Pros: Good price for pos system for us.
Ease of use for us, but for loyalty kinda confusing.
    Okay customer service.

Cons: Online ordering needs to improve for charge back issues.
    Loyalty kinda confusing.
No actual personal support that comes to the restaurant.

Overall: Overall it's a good POS system for small restaurants that we have, and lots of upgrades. But it can be pricy.

    "POS"

    Posted 2022-06-07

Pros: Easy to use, Easy to program, Convenient, user friendly,
Can be managed on iPad and on laptop/computer for back office.

Cons: Each products has its additional add-ons priced differently, would be nice if there was a reasonably priced packages which would include the add-on products so that we could use only one system rather than multiple ones.

    Overall: Great.

    "TouchBistro for food court kitchen"

    Posted 2022-02-14

Pros: Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable quick response time. Apple based hardware and software.

Cons: They dropped the menu board support recently, so we need to find an alternative software.

Overall: I would recommend TouchBistro as a viable, Apple based software knowing that the menu board will have to be sourced elsewhere.

    "Happy Customer"

    Edited 2021-06-29

Pros: Touch Bistro is easy to use, navigate and make changes. We also like the tutorial videos which makes it easy to learn and follow steps.

Cons: Access to menu is restricted meaning we can only access it on iPad or web cloud to make changes; we have to constantly grant and remove access to be able to make our updates.

Overall: We are happy with the product and believe that Touch Bistro's customer service team provides excellent support when needed. The tech support team is very friendly and do their best to solve issues and provides guidance on how to troubleshoot step by step. We will definitely recommend this product to others to use.

    "Amazing Product "

    Posted 2021-06-25

Pros: The biggest pro it how simple and easy it is to use. I really don't have much tech knowledge, but I was able to set everything up, call in for last steps help and away we went. Programming was super simple and easy as well. Adding menu items is quick no complicated procedures.

Cons: Support is my biggest con. When your system goes down (rare but it does at times) you at time have to wait over an hour for support to help you. Of course it will go down during service so waiting an hour can cost you time and money and frustration from guests.

Overall: Overall I highly recommend Touch Bistro, I have Been with them now 6+ years. Truly one of the best on the market and fairly inexpensive to purchase.

    "Great POS"

    Posted 2021-06-25

Pros: The software is really easy to install. It works seamlessly and is very easy to use. The built in features are also easy to navigate.

Cons: The add ons are expensive. Sometimes even if we want to use them we back out because of the price.

Overall: My overall experience has been really great so far. Keep up the good work. Great customer support team.

    "Always progressing"

    Posted 2020-06-25

Pros: Extreme flexibility, I feel that the system is very secure. I can edit just about any access for any employee, details for which is very impressive.

The integrations it has is very convenient, currently I only use Square but am considering online ordering integrations (as soon as it occurs to one of them that they should include GrubHub). Wish these integrations were managed by Touchbistro, I have never had a very good experience dealing with these companies.

Customer Service? The absolute best, I mean wow, I have been using this company for about four years, I think, and I must say NOT ONCE have I had a mediocre experience at least.
The updates for the TouchBistro main device can now be handled from the POS. This may seem trivial, but I found myself MANY TIMES, having to either run back to the business to access the computer that is locked away in the office in order to update the software because the iPads would not work without it, hence no register-no sales. Or of course I could just give the key to the room- which also has the safe among many other things- to whomever, needless to say, NO!

Cons: Have to be on premises for menu editing, cannot do much remotely in regards to the actual POS. I wish I could see open orders or at the very least edit my menus. My restaurant is open from 7am to sometimes 4am, this means that if I need to edit my menu I need to wait for my 3 hour window between 4 and 7am or interrupt my employees smooth transaction experiences with frequent “admin changes”.
Wish I could edit the customer information window to only require the information I want.

Also, customer management would be nice, a way to know which customer has not ordered in such amount of time so that I do not frequently find myself debating over deleting 5k customer contacts or simply letting the system crash and eventually still having to completely delete all my customer info because I do not know who is and who is not relevant anymore.
The inventory process is weird, I cannot add inventory because it does not reflect it in my inventory... confusing, I have to edit the inventory within the menu so if I receive a case of beer and do not do it this way it will say that I received a case but my inventory will still go into negative.

Overall: I have tried going to other companies but always seem to come back to TouchBistro, they are definitely improving, they make it a priority to listen to their customers and make their needs their main concern.
