"WMS is the way to go." Posted 2023-02-02
Pros: Overall, Latitude has given us control and visibility of our inventories and user performance. The Pathguide Team is very supportive of their products (WMS/LMS), and I personally witnessed our operations go from somewhat inefficient to extremely efficient in a short period of time. I would say the metrics or KPIs are my personal favorite feature. Metrics can be used to track performance, time usage, areas of concern, etc. This comes in extra handy during an employee review process.
Cons: I would have to say the one thing that we had to create a work around for was the returns process. If we have defective products come back and we process the return with WMS, our ERP sees the first action of it going back to stock before a return to vendor is authorized, so it can allocate to an order if it is on back order. So, to make this easier, we process through the ERP system first and if the product is okay to return to stock, it is inducted with Latitude. Still an easy process.
Overall: We usually beta test everything at our corporate site / warehouse, and being skeptical due to past warehouse management systems, I elected to implement WMS and LMS in phases. Pathguide recommended we implement it all at the same time after performing a full physical inventory. It created more of a learning curve by not implementing all at once because of using two different systems to do the same thing. Needless to say, the next 3 implementations were done as recommended and it went really smooth.

"Latitude WMS System" Posted 2023-01-19
Pros: The Latitude WMS system is very adaptable to warehouse processes. There is not a rigid Latitude way of doing things that you must adapt to; it's how do you want to use Latitude to run your warehouse.
The Latitude interface is well thought out and easy to understand. We have new hires picking orders accurately and independently within a few hours.
The Performance Metrics module is a great tool to analyze warehouse and employee efficiency and performance.
Latitude WMS has impressive integrations with cutting edge processes and material handling systems.Cons: Would like to see a tighter integration with our host ERP system for quarantine inventory that is generally related to customer returns.
Overall: Our Latitude Warehouse Management System has been invaluable in growing and servicing our core business customers, as well as allowing us to branch into the high-compliance world of large retailers.

Pros: Easy system. I can train anyone how to Ship, Receive or Material Handling in 15 minutes. There are cross over functions like production orders that cover other processes, so it helps with training. We may be only using 40 percent of the software which meets all of our requirements. In most cases, if I need something new, they already have it. Customer service has been outstanding. Easy setup, custom menus to use and full traceability of all movement.
Cons: I really cannot think of any cons. Everything has been great.
Overall: 10 Plus - Outstanding with all aspects of the system.
