Docx2txt is a Perl based command-line utility to convert (even corrupted) Microsoft docx documents to reasonably formatted text files, along with appropriate character conversions. Apart from Perl it also requires a command line unzipping program like unzip/7z/pkzipc/wzunzip.

SortPhotos is a Python-based command-line utility that organizes photos and videos into structured directories based on their date and time metadata. File Read Test is a tool that reads disk files or directories and stops on the first read error. A second tool, Quick Disk Test, fills a disk with test data and verifies that it can be read back without errors.

I have written this short script to correct vowel mutation (Umlaut) errors in filenames.
