Open Source C# Games for ChromeOS

"Sims 3 Package Interface" provides a core library of portable code that "understands" Sims3 game packages. Note that (with some minor tweaks) the core library code also understands other game package formats (e.g. SimCity Online, Sims4). Along with the core library are a number of "wrappers" that provide the main part of the project. These handle deserialization and serialization of data within the package (or any other source). Further tools (not supplied here) can use the core library and wrappers to manipulate the data content of package files. Note that development on this library and wrappers provided here has now finished.

Basic Computer Games is a modern revitalization of the classic “Basic Computer Games” book’s collection of games, ported and expanded into various modern, memory-safe and scripting languages. It includes illustrative code examples of many classic games (e.g. Blackjack, Bowling) in multiple languages, with the goal of making the historical games accessible and educational in safe modern environments. Definitely use the most recent versions and features of the target language, but also try to keep the code samples simple and explainable – the goal is to teach programming in the target language, not necessarily demonstrate the cleverest one-line tricks, or big system "enterprise" coding techniques designed for thousands of lines of code.

Stars! Nova is a clone of the classic 4X space strategy game Stars!. While nowhere near the functionality of Stars! quite a few features have been implemented so far. See the Nova web page for details.

DBWA shows users Currently running SQL Queries, Historic Queries, and Fragmented Indexes. DBWA also allows users to kill currently running queries or run their own SQL queries. "Maere : When Lights Die" is a horror video-game and virtual reality project by Lucid Dreams (that's us !). We are four game designers from the IMAC engineering school in France, and we've been developing this project since october 2012. It has been created with virtual reality in mind from the start and will be playable on the Oculus Rift headset as soon as we get our developer kit ! The game is also available for free on PC, Mac, and Linux.

Labyrinth is a complicated game for two or more players. They walk in dark Labyrinth, searching for treasures, by passing moves to server and getting replies.

SteamEngine is a new open-source UO server emulator coded in C#, which can read and run Sphere scripts. It`s domains are supposed to be extreme customizability even for non-programmers, and a clean and readable codebase. The project is now abandoned. The "intended for the public" phase ended long ago. The "OldCode" repository is that (if that still works). Then for a while we intended it for the UO shard moria.cz, but that didn't succeed either, and the shard is now defunct. The last commit of this phase is r904 in "SvnCode" repository. Lately I've using the codebase for experiments with in-memory transactions. First part is abandoning NANT for building and moving to VS 2015. That's done in r922. This is the last functional code. After that the transaction stuff is added which basically means the server is broken. Ultimately I've moved to GitHub, where the development may or may not continue. We'll see. This is a final goodbye.
