EversouL is the “true solo” project of Jeff Randall, former lead guitarist of Milwaukee WI based, regionally-successful hard rock group Katella. Rising from the ashes of the now-defuct group, EversouL forged ahead with hook-laden, heavy rock...full of blistering guitars, a tight rhythm section and solid vocals. In 2016 EversouL released an 8-song album of new music titled "Phoenix" – and immediately the rock world took notice, as several tracks such as “Color Of Love”, “I Am”, and “Rain” found their way onto independent radio playlists, generating hundreds of downloads from EversouL’s many media sites. In 2018 the second EversouL album “Propaganda” was unleashed. This 10-song release picks up where “Phoenix” left off – albeit in a heavier but still melodic direction. Like its’ predecessor this release continues to be a hit, generating many song downloads as well as radio airplay for such songs as “In The Name Of”, Nobody’s Child”, “I’m Alive”, and “My Poison”. All material from both albums is available for track-by-track streaming on ReverbNation and SoundCloud, and whole album as well as single song purchase on BandCamp. In 2020 EversouL continued to write and record the follow-up to “Propaganda”, cumulating with the release of "Uncivilized SocietME" in 2025. After 2 CD releases and years of touring, sharing the stage with some of the greatest hard rock & heavy metal groups of the 80’s & 90’s, the group disbanded in 2012. Not content to let his creative fires die, Jeff created EversouL, which he calls a “true solo” project in the sense that all material is written, performed, and recorded by Jeff himself. According to Jeff: “I wasn’t quite ready to be in another group after Katella’s demise, as it was hard to find that brotherhood and camaraderie. But I knew I had many musical ideas that I wanted to come to fruition, so I formed EversouL.” Jeff, on the “true solo” project statement: “I didn’t want this to be something that’s called a solo project named for one person, but there are other people who contribute but don’t really get the recognition.” If I’m going to do a solo project, then it needs to be all me…from the conception to the delivery of my music. I play the drums, the bass, the guitars, and the vocals. That’s not to say that at some point, if the situation warrants, I wouldn’t want to bring in additional members so this music can be performed live. But at that point the solo-project EversouL will then be reborn as EversouL the group.”
