A bad week this time around. The only saving grace was that the Panthers won their second in a row. It wasn’t pretty, but, hey, I’m not proud.

Jake threw two more interceptions. The best part was the rushing game. Williams and Stewart ran for 152 and 110 respectively(Jake even ran for five on one play). They ended the day 28-21 over Tampa Bay, which they certainly needed as the Saints overwhelmed the Giants 48-27.

A not unexpected win, just the size of the win margin. Both had been undefeated. The Saints are to be congratulated. They’re very good.

The ‘Skins are abysmal. That’s the only polite thing one can say about them. Losing to the previously winless Chiefs, 14-6, they changed quarterbacks in the second half, had a safety pulled on them. One wonders how long Snyder will wait before he pulls the trigger. Not that I’m absolving him. I think he’s the biggest part of the problem. He’s one of those hands-on owners and I’ve never understood those type of guys(Steinbrunner and Jerry Jones are two more).

The fact that they own a team gives them no special knowledge into a sport. They would never hire someone to run one of their private businesses simply because they had enthusiasm for said subject. They would know better.

My third team ended the day badly. The Jets lost to the Bills, 16-13, in overtime. They started off like a ball of fire, winning their first three games. It’s been downhill ever since, a three game skid reducing them to a five hundred record.

New England completely destroyed the Titans in a driving snow storm, 59-0, Brady throwing six touchdown passes(a record five in the second quarter).

Not a good week.
