Abstract

L'invention concerne un processus et une installation pour la production d'ammoniac et d'urée qui utilisent comme charge d'alimentation un mélange gazeux provenant de divers processus industriels, en particulier des processus de réduction de minerai de fer métallurgique. Le processus produit une boucle qui utilise la réaction d'oxydation partielle catalytique à courte durée de contact (SCT-CPO) pour convertir les gaz de purge de la synthèse d'ammoniac en gaz de synthèse qui est combiné à la charge d'alimentation à traiter. L'oxygène pour la réaction d'oxydation partielle est obtenu par électrolyse de l'eau ou par séparation d'air. Le CO2 contenu dans la charge d'alimentation et/ou émis dans les étapes de processus est utilisé pour la production d'urée.
