Abstract
L'invention concerne une batterie électromécanique gravitationnelle qui accumule de l'énergie par levage d'un grand nombre de blocs (16) à une hauteur et production ultérieure d'énergie électrique pendant l'abaissement de blocs sous l'influence de la gravité. Lorsque la batterie est chargée, le système déplace séquentiellement des blocs d'un empilement bas inférieur à un empilement haut supérieur, qui est situé sur un socle (1). La décharge de la batterie se produit dans l'ordre inverse. Trois sous-systèmes participent à des mouvements de blocs, une tige (4) et une grue à poutre inférieure (13) réalisent une fonction auxiliaire d'empilement de blocs, et un élévateur (30) assure le levage des blocs à la hauteur et l'abaissement des blocs, ce qui permet la production d'électricité. Un exemple de l'utilisation d'un tel système peut être l'accumulation d'énergie produite par des panneaux solaires sur un jour ensoleillé et la production d'électricité lorsque la batterie se décharge après le coucher du soleil lorsque l'énergie solaire n'est pas disponible.
