カーボンナノチューブとしては、特に限定されず、公知のカーボンナノチューブを使用することができる。具体的には、例えば、グラファイトの1枚面を1層に巻いた単層カーボンナノチューブ、多層に巻いた多層カーボンナノチューブ等が挙げられる。本発明のカーボンナノチューブ含有組成物では、カーボンナノチューブの直径(繊維径)及び平均長さは、特に限定されないが、導電性、成形性等の観点から、平均長さの長いカーボンナノチューブを使用することが好ましく、平均長さの長い単層カーボンナノチューブを使用することが特に好ましい。なお、必要に応じて、単層カーボンナノチューブと多層カーボンナノチューブとを組み合わせて用いてもよい。
有機溶媒は、カーボンナノチューブと後述する熱硬化性樹脂の分散媒として配合されている。本発明の組成物では、有機溶媒の沸点(T1)と後述する熱硬化性樹脂の熱硬化反応開始温度(T2)との絶対値の差が70℃以下となるように、有機溶媒の種類が選択される。従って、配合する熱硬化性樹脂の熱硬化反応開始温度(T2)の値に応じて、有機溶媒の沸点(T1)が、T2-70℃≦T1≦T2+70℃の範囲内となるように有機溶媒の種類が選択される。
熱硬化性樹脂は、バインダー樹脂として機能する。熱硬化性樹脂としては、エポキシ樹脂、フェノール樹脂の他、アミノ樹脂、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂、ポリウレタン樹脂、シリコーン樹脂、熱硬化性ポリイミド樹脂等が挙げられる。熱硬化性樹脂は、単独で使用してもよく、2種以上併用してもよい。これらの熱硬化性樹脂のうち、エポキシ樹脂、シリコーン樹脂が特に好ましい。
上記のように調製したカーボンナノチューブ含有組成物をフィルム上に塗布することで、カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の塗膜とフィルムとの積層構造体を得ることができる。このとき、カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物をシート状に塗布すると、シート状の積層構造体を得ることができる。カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の塗布方法は、特に限定されず、例えば、コンマコーター法、スクリーン印刷法、インクジェット法、ロールコータ法、バーコータ法、スプレーコータ法、カーテンフローコータ法、スキージ法、アプリケータ法、ブレードコータ法、ナイフコータ法、グラビアコータ法等、公知の方法を使用することができる。カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の塗膜の厚さは、特に限定されず、例えば、5~100μmの範囲が挙げられる。
熱処理により、有機溶媒を揮発させながら、熱硬化性樹脂を熱硬化させていき、カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の塗膜を熱硬化させることができる。熱処理の温度としては、熱硬化性樹脂の熱硬化開始温度に応じて適宜選択可能であるが、例えば、熱硬化性樹脂として、エポキシ樹脂やシリコーン樹脂を使用する場合には、70~250℃が挙げられ、熱処理の時間としては、例えば、1~60分を挙げることができる。
<カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の調製>
バインダー樹脂である熱硬化性樹脂としてビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂(商品名:YD-128、新日化エポキシ製造株式会社製、質量平均分子量:400、軟化点:25℃以下、液体、エポキシ当量:190)9質量部、エポキシ樹脂硬化剤としてジエチレントリアミン(三井化学ファイン株式会社製、純度:99%以上、比重:0.95)1質量部、有機溶媒としてN-メチル-2-ピロリドンに分散された単層カーボンナノチューブ(商品名:ZEONANO(登録商標)03DS-NP-RD、日本ゼオン株式会社製、固形分0.3質量%、平均長さ100μm以上、G/Dバンド比5.0以上)177質量部を250mlプラスチック容器(商品名:パックエースP-250、株式会社テラオカ製)に秤量し、遊星式撹拌・脱泡装置(商品名:マゼルスターKK-250、倉敷紡績株式会社製)にて10分間撹拌を行い、カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物を得た。
カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物10gをポリイミドフィルム上にコンマコーター法により塗布して塗膜を形成し、その後、200℃で30分加熱して、塗膜から有機溶媒を揮発させ、且つ塗膜を熱硬化させて、厚さが10μmの熱硬化塗膜を形成した。これにより、実施例1に係るシート状の導電性部材を得た。
カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の調製において、N-メチル-2-ピロリドンに分散された単層カーボンナノチューブ(商品名:EC1.5P-NMP、名城ナノカーボン株式会社製、固形分0.2質量%、平均長さ5~10μm、G/Dバンド比50以上)を265質量部用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、実施例2に係るシート状の導電性部材を得た。
カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の調製において、N-メチル-2-ピロリドンに分散された単層カーボンナノチューブ(商品名:EC2.0P-NMP、名城ナノカーボン株式会社製、固形分0.2質量%、平均長さ10~15μm、G/Dバンド比50以上)を265質量部用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、実施例3に係るシート状の導電性部材を得た。
カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の調製において、N-メチル-2-ピロリドンに分散された単層カーボンナノチューブ(商品名:EC2.0P-NMP、名城ナノカーボン株式会社製、固形分0.2質量%、平均長さ10~15μm、G/Dバンド比50以上)を375質量部用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、実施例4に係るシート状の導電性部材を得た。
カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の調製において、N-メチル-2-ピロリドンに分散された単層カーボンナノチューブ(商品名:EC2.0P-NMP、名城ナノカーボン株式会社製、固形分0.2質量%、平均長さ10~15μm、G/Dバンド比50以上)を555質量部用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、実施例5に係るシート状の導電性部材を得た。
カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の調製において、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂に代えて難結晶性液状エポキシ樹脂(商品名:ZX-1059、新日化エポキシ製造株式会社製、粘度2250mPa・s、軟化点:25℃以下、液体、エポキシ当量:165)を9質量部用いた以外は実施例2と同様にして、実施例6に係るシート状の導電性部材を得た。
カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の調製において、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂に代えて環状脂肪族ジグリジルエ-テル系エポキシ樹脂(商品名:ZX-1658GS、新日化エポキシ製造株式会社製、粘度50mPa・s、軟化点:25℃以下、液体、エポキシ当量:133)を9質量部用いた他は実施例2と同様にして、実施例7に係るシート状の導電性部材を得た。

各実施例及び比較例に用いた熱硬化性樹脂と硬化剤について、表1、2に示す量を250mlプラスチック容器(商品名:パックエースP-250、株式会社テラオカ製)に秤量し、遊星式撹拌・脱泡装置(商品名:マゼルスターKK-250、倉敷紡績株式会社製)にて10分間撹拌を行った。これらサンプルを、上記の測定方法に従って、示差走査熱量計(型番:DSC7000、株式会社日立ハイテクサイエンス製)にて昇温速度5℃/minにて室温から300℃まで昇温測定し、得られた発熱ピークから、熱硬化反応開始温度(T2)を測定した。
各実施例及び比較例に係る導電性部材からポリイミドフィルムを剥離した際に、熱硬化塗膜の破断状況を目視にて評価した。熱硬化塗膜が破断することなく剥離可能であったものを○、熱硬化塗膜が破断したものを×と評価した。その結果を表1、2に示す。
各実施例及び比較例にて得られた導電性部材をウルトラミクロトーム(商品名:EMUC7、Leica製)にて厚み方向に略半分に切断し、その断面を透過電子顕微鏡(商品名:JEM-ARM300F、日本電子株式会社製)にて観察することにより、CNTの分散状態を観察した。全ての観察面についてCNTが単一分散されていたものを○、CNTの凝集体が観察されたものを×と評価した。その結果を表1、2に示す。
各実施例及び比較例にて得られた導電性部材を直径12.5mmの穴あけポンチにて切り抜き、直径12.5mm、厚さ10μmの円盤状の試験片を得た。この試験片について、高精度高機能低抵抗率計(型番:ロレスタGX、株式会社三菱化学アナリテック製、測定端子:PSPプローブ MCP-TP06P RMH112)にて4端子法で体積抵抗率を測定した。その結果を表1、2に示す。
Claims (8)
- (A)カーボンナノチューブと、(B)有機溶媒と、(C)熱硬化性樹脂と、を含み、
前記(B)有機溶媒の沸点(T1)と前記(C)熱硬化性樹脂の熱硬化反応開始温度(T2)との絶対値の差が、70℃以下であるカーボンナノチューブ含有組成物。 - 前記(A)カーボンナノチューブの、ラマン分光により求められるラマンスペクトルのGバンドとDバンドとの強度比G/Dが1.0以上、且つ前記(A)カーボンナノチューブの平均長さが1.0μm以上である請求項1に記載のカーボンナノチューブ含有組成物。
- 前記(C)熱硬化性樹脂が、エポキシ樹脂である請求項1または2に記載のカーボンナノチューブ含有組成物。
- 前記(A)カーボンナノチューブが、前記カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の全固形成分100質量%中に0.1質量%以上15質量%以下含まれる請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のカーボンナノチューブ含有組成物。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のカーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の熱硬化物。
- 体積抵抗率が、0.1Ω・cm以下である請求項5に記載の熱硬化物。
- (A)カーボンナノチューブと、(B)有機溶媒と、(C)熱硬化性樹脂と、を含み、前記(B)有機溶媒の沸点(T1)と前記(C)熱硬化性樹脂の熱硬化反応開始温度(T2)との絶対値の差が、70℃以下であるカーボンナノチューブ含有組成物をフィルム上に塗布する工程と、
前記カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物を熱処理することにより、前記(B)有機溶媒を揮発させ、且つ前記(C)熱硬化性樹脂の熱硬化反応を開始させる工程と、
を含む、カーボンナノチューブ含有組成物の熱硬化物の製造方法。 - 前記熱硬化物が、厚み1μm以上500μm以下の導電性シートを構成する請求項7に記載の製造方法。
