Definitions

  • Biological processes both aerobic and anaerobic, are widely used in the treatment of wastewater for sanitation;
  • the aerobic processes are usually carried out in the upper part of water treatment tanks, where aerators are required to aerate the water; for this, biological contact rotors (RBC) are used, which in the first stages performs the degradation of the remaining organic matter of the water coming from an anaerobic treatment and in the last stages it allows the growth of different nitrifying bacteria (nitrosomes and nitrobacter) that convert the ammoniacal nitrogen in nitrites and later in nitrates that will become nitrogen gas in the anoxic zone.
  • RBC biological contact rotors
  • An ultraviolet disinfection system is conceptually simple, it consists of a UV radiation chamber, one or more lamps ultraviolet lamps installed inside quartz protective tubes in contact with water, sensors and an electrical cabinet for power and control of the UV system.
  • the existing UV disinfection equipment is a closed type, which implies another type of structure and dimensions for its installation as well as the conduits or pipes that will carry the water to it and discharge or exit; open-type ones are also on the market, but for the functionality of these, a concrete construction has to be carried out for the installation of UV lamps and channels for water entry, which implies a larger area for the functionality of it and its infrastructure is larger so its cost is higher.
  • Chinese patent document CN106277311A (designated as document D1) of Zhao Xiaodong, dated October 21, 2016, which discloses an up-flow anaerobic sludge diversion reactor, which refers to an anaerobic reactor, was found.
  • iodo bed which includes tanks, lid, slag separator, liquid phase turn separators, water distribution components.
  • the water distribution means comprise an inlet water distributor, and an exhaust water separator.
  • Document D1 does not disclose, nl suggests a static, deep-bed, automatic, rectangular tank-type clarifier that integrates the different components, in a similar arrangement, form of operation and efficiency as that of our invention.
  • Document D2 also does not reveal, nl suggests, nl in its entire description, nl in its figures a static, deep-bed, automatic, piston-type rectangular tank clarifier that integrates the remaining components, in a similar arrangement, form of operation and efficiency like that of our invention,
  • Figure 5 illustrates a conventional perspective view of an axial flow pumping equipment for the extraction of sedimented sludge in the conical settlers
  • Said clarifier integrates a water inlet to be treated (11) arranged on one side of rectangular tank (1) in the first section where the first conical settler (3) is defined.
  • the static clarifier also integrates in the upper part a bi-directional self-adjusting skimmer (12) for elimination of creams (12a) (solids, foams and other floating objects) comprising a collecting channel (13) with a discharge orifice of the collected creams. connects a discharge duct (14) of the creams taken that leads to a collector that houses a submersible pump (15) to pump the cream into sludge discharge duct network (10).
  • Said static clarifier also integrates a disinfection module with UV lamps (16) where the water enters the UV disinfection module through an inlet (17), travels inside the equipment, and exits through a conduit (18) of the part front to the outside of the tank.
  • Said conical settlers (3) are made of FRP (glass fiber reinforced polyester);
  • Submersible axiai pumps (8) are preferably 1 ⁇ 2 HP that allow the passage of solids of up to 48 mm, with a capacity of 0.8 m 3 / min at a load of 2 m.
  • Said vertical baffles (4) are preferably made of HDPE (high density polystyrene) which function as deflectors to force the flow in a single up-down direction.
