Description
FLOORING SUPPORT DEVICE
The present invention relates to a flooring support device.
Raised floorings are currently known and often installed in which the walkable region is supported by a structure which in turn rests on a lower surface: in this manner, a possibly inspectable compartment is formed between the lower surface and the floor and can also act as a technical compartment.
Different types of raised floorings and in particular of devices for supporting said floorings are currently commercially available.
Many known solutions provide column- like elements which have, in a lower region, a body for resting on the lower surface or bed and a head, very often a widened one, which forms a resting surface for the flooring.
Known solutions sometimes have a certain difficulty in the height adjustment of the resting head.
Furthermore, very often it is necessary to use different column-like elements for different height ranges, with the consequence of having to manage a large number of product codes.
The aim of the present invention is to provide a flooring support device that is capable of improving the background art in one or more of the aspects indicated above.
Within this aim, an object of the invention is to provide a flooring support device that is capable of using the same components even if it is necessary to have considerably mutually different height extensions.
Another object of the invention is to provide a flooring support device that is highly reliable, relatively easy to provide and at competitive costs.
This aim and these and other objects which will become better apparent hereinafter are achieved by a flooring support device according to claim 1 , optionally having one or more of the characteristics of the dependent claims.
Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become better apparent from the description of preferred but not exclusive embodiments of the flooring support device according to the invention, illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
Figure 1 is an exploded perspective view of a flooring support device according to the invention;
Figure 2 is a perspective view of the flooring support device according to the invention;
Figure 3 is a lateral elevation view of a first configuration of the support device with the flat surface in a lowered position;
Figure 4 is a lateral elevation view of a first configuration of the support device with the flat surface in a raised position;
Figure 5 is a lateral elevation view of a second configuration of the support device with the flat surface in a lowered position;
Figure 6 is a lateral elevation view of a second configuration of the support device with the flat surface in a raised position;
Figure 7 is a lateral elevation view of a third configuration of the support device with the flat surface in a lowered position;
Figure 8 is a lateral elevation view of a third configuration of the support device with the flat surface in a raised position.
With reference to the cited figures, the flooring support device according to the invention, designated generally by the reference numeral 1 , comprises a resting element 2 provided with at least one resting body 2a designed to be rested on a lower surface or bed.
Furthermore, the device 1 comprises a supporting head 3 for at least one portion of a flooring.
The supporting head 3 forms a flat surface 3a and is associated or associable with at least one spacer wing 3b.
According to the present invention, the device 1 comprises an
interface body 4 for connection between the resting element 2 and the resting head 3.
The interface body 4 comprises an annular body which forms a first element for coupling to a respective abutment element formed on the resting element 2, and a female thread portion 14 which can engage a respective thread 13 formed on the resting head 3 to adjust the distance between the resting body 2a and the flat surface 3a.
Advantageously, the resting element 2 comprises the resting body 2a and at least one extender 5, which can be coupled selectively to the resting element 2.
The or each extender 5 forms a respective abutment element for the coupling of the interface body 4.
By way of example, it is possible to provide two extenders 5 that have a mutually different height extension.
With reference to a preferred embodiment shown in the figures, the resting element 2, the resting head 3 and the interface body 4 are extended around a main axis of extension 100.
The main axis of extension 100 is arranged in use substantially at right angle with respect to the plane of arrangement of the flooring.
Conveniently, the resting head 3 supports four spacer wings 3b arranged so as to be mutually angularly spaced around the main axis of extension 100.
The planes of arrangement of the spacer wings 3b are preferably arranged radially with respect to the main axis of extension to form between contiguous spacer wings an angle substantially equal to 90°.
Conveniently, the first coupling element and the respective abutment element comprise a bayonet mating device.
The use of the device 1 according to the invention is evident from what has been described above.
In particular, the presence of the interface body 4 which can be
coupled equally to the resting element 2 and to the extenders 5, allows to obtain simply and effectively devices of different height by using an extremely limited number of components.
In practice it has been found that the invention achieves the intended aim and objects.
The invention thus conceived is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the appended claims; all the details may furthermore be replaced with other technically equivalent elements.
In practice, the materials used, so long as they are compatible with the specific use, as well as the contingent shapes and dimensions, may be any according to the requirements and the state of the art.
The disclosures in Italian Utility Model Application No. 202017000007076 (UA2017U024568) from which this application claims priority are incorporated herein by reference.
Where technical features mentioned in any claim are followed by reference signs, those reference signs have been included for the sole purpose of increasing the intelligibility of the claims and accordingly such reference signs do not have any limiting effect on the interpretation of each element identified by way of example by such reference signs.
