Selon la présente invention, un dispositif d'ouverture et de fermeture d'un ensemble fenêtre ou porte de type coulissant comprenant un cadre et une fenêtre ou une porte coulissant entre une position d'ouverture et une position de fermeture, au niveau de laquelle une zone d'ouverture du cadre est ouverte et fermée, comprend : un support disposé de manière à pouvoir être fixé et détaché de l'un quelconque du cadre et de la fenêtre ou de la porte; une unité de galet disposée au niveau du support, et tournant tout en venant en contact avec la fenêtre ou la porte de façon à faire coulisser la fenêtre ou la porte entre la position d'ouverture et la position de fermeture; et une unité d'arrêt disposée au niveau du support selon un espace prédéterminé par rapport à l'unité de galet, et venant sélectivement en contact avec la fenêtre ou la porte de façon à arrêter un mouvement coulissant de la fenêtre ou de la porte. Par conséquent, la fixation et le détachement vers/depuis l'un quelconque du cadre et de la fenêtre ou de la porte sont activés, la fenêtre ou la porte peut effectuer un mouvement de va-et-vient entre la position d'ouverture et la position de fermeture par le fonctionnement de l'unité de galet venant en contact avec la fenêtre ou la porte, et l'unité d'arrêt peut limiter le mouvement de la fenêtre ou de la porte en venant en contact avec celle-ci lorsque la fenêtre ou la porte s'arrête, de telle sorte que la commodité de fonctionnement de l'ouverture et de la fermeture automatiques de la fenêtre ou de la porte peut être améliorée et que le mouvement de la fenêtre ou de la porte à une position prédéterminée est limité de manière à permettre d'améliorer la prévention d'effraction.
