Grâce au contrôle de l'état de lecture continue lorsqu'un utilisateur lit un livre électronique et à la détermination, en fonction de l'état de lecture continue, de l'intérêt de l'utilisateur pour le livre, l'invention peut déterminer avec plus de précision le type de livre qui intéresse l'utilisateur et peut également réduire le bruit d'informations et améliorer l'expérience utilisateur.
