- the handle assembly 200 may be e.g. on each longitudinal side of the box a first lower beam 202.1, a second middle beam 202.2 and an upper beam 202.3 include.
- These spars 202.1, 202.2, 202.3 can be pushed into one another in a telescope arrangement, the middle spar 202.2 receiving the upper spar 202.3 and the lower spar 202.1 receiving the middle spar 202.2 together with the upper spar 202.3.
- All embodiments of the invention may include such a telescopic arrangement as a handle assembly 200. All embodiments of the invention may include a telescope assembly having more than three spars per side. This is important to provide a sufficient safety margin between the drawn suitcase 100 and the feet of a person.
- All embodiments of the invention may include a handle assembly 200 having an upper cross member / handle spar 203.
- Fig. 4C shows the case 100 in a front view. In the state shown, the handle assembly 200 is only partially pulled out (the spars 202.2 still sit inside the spars 202.1). In Fig. 4C, the cross member / handle spar 203 is clearly visible. In addition, the course of the pivot axis R is shown.
- FIG. 5A shows a perspective view of the case 100.
- FIG. 5B shows a corresponding side view of the case 100.
- the two hinge elements 201 are preferably interconnected by a (transverse) axis, which is not shown in the figures, since it lies inside the case 100.
- the mentioned (transverse) axis would coincide in Fig. 4C with the axis R.

- the two hinge elements 201 are arranged coaxially with one another, as shown.
- the (transverse) axis is preferably designed as a rigid axle.
- the aforementioned pivot axis R coincides with the optional (transverse) axis.
- Such a (transverse) axis gives the entire case 100 more stability and prevents jamming of the side rails 202.1, 202.2, 202.3.
- all embodiments of the invention may also have two independent axes or Achsstümpfe, each of which may be rotatably mounted on the Kaffer (eg on a hard shell of the case 100)).

- the handle assembly 200 may preferably include (inner) guide shoes that allow a clean nesting of the side rails 202.1, 202.2, 202.3.
- Fig. 6 shows a schematic exploded view of the elements of an inventive handle assembly 200, wherein only the elements of one side of a suitcase 100 are shown here.
- the handle assembly 200 includes a plate 206 fixed to a side wall of the trunk area 14 coaxially with the axis R (e.g., with screws or rivets).
- a small stub shaft 207 is attached on the plate 206.
- a bearing sleeve 208 can be placed.
- a cover 210 with an axial bore 209 for inserting a shaft or screw.
- the cover 210 here comprises a receiving opening 211, which is designed to receive a triggering mechanism 212.
- This triggering mechanism 212 may be e.g. sit inside the lower beam 202.1.
- Actuating members 213 e.g., pull ropes or bars
- the handle assembly 200 may act on the plate 206 in all embodiments of the invention by moving the / the actuators 213 via the trigger mechanism 212. For example, can be done by lifting the triggering mechanism 212 unlocking. After unlocking the entire handle assembly 200 together with the release mechanism 212 and the cover 210 can rotate about the axis R until it engages again in a different angular position. To lock (click) in different Angle positions (preferably there is a basic position and at least one special position) to allow, are preferably arranged in all embodiments of the plate 206 and / or the cover 210 corresponding elements which engage with each other.
- the elements / parts 212, 213 are part of an actuating mechanism.
- a latching arrangement and / or a slotted guide is provided on the plate 206.
- the latching arrangement is preferably designed such that it specifies at least two latching or angular positions of the handle arrangement 200 relative to the luggage area 14.
- the slotted guide is preferably designed so that it guides the rotary or pivoting movement of the handle assembly 200 relative to the trunk area 14.
- the slotted guide if present, preferably includes an arcuate track for guiding the pivotal movement of the handle assembly 200.
- the handle assembly 200 may be provided in all embodiments of the invention with a lever or knob that allows unlocking before pivoting from the basic position to the special position.
- the lever or knob sits on the cross member / handle spar 203.
- the unlocking is performed by manually pulling the cover 210, for example, parallel to the axis R from the case 100 away. This displacement of the cover 210 unlocks the handle assembly 200. Then, the handle assembly 200 can be pivoted relative to the case 100. Upon reaching a desired angular position (called special position), a re-locking can be performed by pressing the cover 210 parallel to the axis R in the direction of the case 100.
- the cover 210 is spring-loaded, so that it automatically engages upon reaching a predetermined angular position.
- the unlocking is carried out by manually folding eg on the cover 210 a lever or pushes in a spring-loaded knob.
