Abstract

L'invention a pour objet de fournir un agent de scellement pour cristaux liquides avec lequel la largeur de trait est uniforme même dans le cas d'un motif de scellement fin, il est possible de mettre en adhésion deux substrats avec une haute résistance de fixation par collage, et les fuites de cristaux liquides sont peu susceptibles de se produire. Dans cet objectif, cet agent de scellement contient : (1a) une résine (méth)acrylique, ou (1b) une résine époxy modifiée par (méth)acrylique qui possède un groupe époxy et un groupe (méth)acrylique dans chaque molécule; (2) une charge organique (A) de diamètre particulaire moyen compris entre 4 et 13µm; (3) une charge organique (B) de diamètre particulaire moyen compris entre 0,05 et 1µm; et (4) un initiateur de polymérisation par voie radicalaire. Lorsque la teneur (en masse) en composant (2) est représentée par W1, et la teneur (en masse) en composant (3) est représentée par W2, alors 0,25≤W1/(W1+W2)≤0,75.
