I-V-L測定システム
下記式(a-1)で表される化合物(以下、A1と略す)及び下記式(a-2)で表される化合物(以下、A2と略す)を、上記非特許文献1に記載の方法に従って合成した。
インドール7.00g、ベンジル5.01g、p-トルエンスルホン酸一水和物0.92g、及びトルエン55mLを順次加え、反応系を窒素置換した。その後、この溶液を加熱還流条件下8時間撹拌した。次いで、この溶液を室温まで冷却した後、ろ過を行った。得られたろ物をカラムクロマトグラフィーにて精製を行い、目的物を含むフラクションを集め、溶媒を留去した後、乾燥を行った。得られた粉末に対して1,4-ジオキサン120mLを用いて再結晶を行った。その後、ろ過、乾燥を行い、6,7-ジフェニル-5,12-ジヒドロインドロ[3,2-a]カルバゾールを4.95g(収率51%)得た。

[実施例1-1]
A1 0.073g(0.178mmol)及び下記式(b-1)で表されるアリールスルホン酸化合物(以下、B1と略す) 0.080g(0.089mmol)の混合物に対し、窒素雰囲気下で良溶媒である1,3-ジメチル-2-イミダゾリジノン(以下、DMIと略す)2.5gを加え、上記混合物を溶解させた。この溶液に、シクロヘキサノール3.75g及びプロピレングリコール1.25gを加え、十分に撹拌して黄色透明溶液を得た。得られた黄色透明溶液を、孔径0.2μmのPTFE製フィルターを用いて濾過し、黄色透明の電荷輸送性ワニスを得た(固形分濃度2.0質量%)。尚、B1は、国際公開第2006/025342号の記載に基づき、合成した。
A1 0.061g(0.136mmol)及びB1 0.092g(0.102mmol)の混合物を用いた以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法で黄色透明の電荷輸送性ワニスを得た(固形分濃度2.0質量%)。
A1 0.048g(0.117mmol)及びB1 0.105g(0.117mmol)の混合物を用いた以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法で黄色透明の電荷輸送性ワニスを得た(固形分濃度2.0質量%)。
A1 0.048g(0.117mmol)及びB1 0.105g(0.117mmol)の混合物に対し、窒素雰囲気下でDMI2.5gを加え、上記混合物を溶解させた。この溶液に、シクロヘキサノール3.75g及びプロピレングリコール1.25gを加え、十分に撹拌した。その後、トリメトキシ(3,3,3-トリフルオロプロピル)シランとトリ(メトキシフェニル)シランの1:2(質量比)の混合溶剤を0.015g加え、更に十分に撹拌し黄色透明溶液を得た。得られた黄色透明溶液を孔径0.2μmのPTFE製フィルターを用いて濾過し、黄色透明の電荷輸送性ワニスを得た(固形分濃度2.0質量%)。
A1 0.046g(0.114mmol)及びリンタングステン酸(関東化学(株)製) 0.186gの混合物を用いた以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法で黄色透明の電荷輸送性ワニスを得た(固形分濃度3.0質量%)。
A2 0.043g(0.097mmol)及びリンタングステン酸 0.173gの混合物に対し、窒素雰囲気下でDMI5gを加え、上記混合物を溶解した。この溶液に、シクロヘキサノール1.0g及びプロピレングリコール1.0gを加え、十分に撹拌して黄色透明溶液を得た。得られた黄色透明溶液を孔径0.2μmのPTFE製フィルターを用いて濾過し、黄色透明の電荷輸送性ワニスを得た(固形分濃度3.0質量%)。
[実施例2-1]~[実施例2-6]
上記方法により得られたワニス([実施例1-1]~[実施例1-6])を、スピンコーターを用いて石英基板に塗布した後、大気中50℃で5分間乾燥させ、更に230℃で15分間焼成し、石英基板上に膜厚30nmの均一な薄膜を作製した。尚、石英基板は、プラズマ洗浄装置(150W、30秒間)を用い、表面上の不純物を除却してから使用した。
[実施例3-1]
下記方法により、図1に示すOLED素子1を作製した。すなわち、基板として、25mm×25mm×0.7tのガラス基板10の表面に、ITO11が膜厚150nmでパターニングされたITO基板12を用いた。ITO基板12は、O2プラズマ洗浄装置(150W、30秒間)を用いて表面上の不純物を除去してから使用した。
上記[実施例1-2]~[実施例1-6]で得られたワニスを用いた以外は、[実施例3-1]と同様の方法でOLED素子を作製した。

(式中、Ar1及びAr2は、互いに独立して、Z1で置換されてもよい炭素数6~20のアリール基、又はZ1で置換されてもよい炭素数2~20のヘテロアリール基を表す。R1及びR2は、互いに独立して、ハロゲン原子、ニトロ基、シアノ基、アミノ基、ジメチルアミノ基、ヒドロキシ基、炭素数1~20のアルコキシ基、Z2で置換されてもよい炭素数1~20のアルキル基、Z2で置換されてもよい炭素数2~20のアルケニル基、又はZ2で置換されてもよい炭素数2~20のアルキニル基を表す。Z1は、ハロゲン原子、ニトロ基、シアノ基、アミノ基、ジメチルアミノ基、ヒドロキシ基、炭素数1~20のアルコキシ基、Z2で置換されてもよい炭素数1~20のアルキル基、Z2で置換されてもよい炭素数2~20のアルケニル基、又はZ2で置換されてもよい炭素数2~20のアルキニル基を表す。Z2は、ハロゲン原子、ニトロ基、シアノ基、アミノ基、ジメチルアミノ基、ヒドロキシ基又は炭素数1~20のアルコキシ基を表す。n及びmはR1及びR2の数を表し、互いに独立して0~4の整数である。) - 前記ドーパント物質は、アリールスルホン酸化合物及びヘテロポリ酸化合物の少なくとも一方を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電荷輸送性ワニス。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の電荷輸送性ワニスからなることを特徴とする電荷輸送性薄膜。
- 請求項1~3の何れか一項に記載の電荷輸送性ワニスを基材上に塗布する工程と、有機溶媒を蒸発させる工程と、を有することを特徴とする電荷輸送性薄膜の製造方法。
- 請求項3に記載の電荷輸送性薄膜を具備することを特徴とする有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。
- 前記電荷輸送性薄膜が、正孔注入層及び正孔輸送層の少なくとも一方であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。
- 請求項3に記載の電荷輸送性薄膜を用いることを特徴とする有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
