Inventive subject matter of the present disclosure provides system for computing Contribution Value/ Incentive points for a user by one or more service/product providing entities by dynamically evaluating and quantifying value of a user based on his/her actions, events, impact of such changes on the user and/or his contacts/relationships/social circle, among other like factors. System can also be configured to take into account several other parameters such as influence of the user on decision making of others, profile/personality of the user, social contribution, product purchase trend/history, social network level interaction, recommendations, preferences, among other like attributes in order to determine and dynamically change the type, nature, and volume of points/incentives/compensation to be given to the user.
Description
SYSTEM FOR COMPUTING CONTRIBUTION AND PROVIDING APPROPRIATE INCENTIVES
Field of the Invention
[0001] The field of the invention relates to, an apparatus to measure the Contribution of people or entities and to provide the dynamic generation and updating of the proper incentive, compensation to these users based on their actions/activities, details and involvement.
Background

[0003] Rewards or loyalty programs associated with purchase of goods or use of certain payment sources have become commonplace. For example, several airline operators offer loyalty miles for flying with the operator, which can be redeemed or used towards another flight operated by the same carrier. Credit card companies such as Discover Inc. or American Express Inc. offer loyalty points for each dollar spent using their credit card. Similarly, even e-commerce companies offer rewards based on the products that users buy from their website.
[0004] It has been widely appreciated that consumers, customers, and clients are the most critical part of any business and typically are the most weakly bonded between the company and investors, and perhaps least rewarded. It is basically customers that make or break a company and form the core basis for whether a company's products or services are going to survive and till when. It is therefore essential to provide right incentive, compensation to them which would make them feel part of the company and get them more engaged.

Some customers make huge purchases; some are loyal, fan; some buy small but at regular intervals and consistently; some are influential in bringing their friends, family, peers etc to use a products- services; some are popular, famous, reputed and may bring class, status, branding to the provider; some customers are active and provide feedback to improve the services et cetera. Also there are customers who are troublemakers. There are customers who are early adapters and are willing to experiment and try new products and services when informed, who give the company an opportunity to develop new products and services. Summing it up, all customers are unique and every time they use a company's products or services they bring in a unique set of advantages and disadvantages to the table. Also as mentioned, timing and place of using the services becomes important as customers who adapt early are actually the ones who help the company first reach breakeven and then move on to profits. People make a variety of contributions such as shopping, posting messages and videos for entertainments of friends or public, social engagements, generate information, share content etc. These and many other factors need to be kept in mind when measuring Contribution Value (CV).
[0006] Similarly, employees, investors, associates, partners, consultants etc. who are integral components of a company need to be provided proper compensation, which creates long term

mutually beneficial relations. These entities or people are more closely bonded to the company, have greater responsibilities and duties, and as such they and their actions have more effect on the company's future. As all of these people would make a varied amount of diverse actions, which are critical to measure and accordingly generate incentives.
[0007] Currently there is no incentive system which properly evaluates a user's/ customer's/ seller's value and contribution, and therefore a need in the art to develop systems and methods that enable accurate and desired evaluation and quantification of the value of a user by dynamically monitoring his/her/its actions, events, impact of such actions, along with considering other attributes/factors, and compute appropriate CV and rightly reimburse them with rewards, discounts, equity, gifts, dividends among other like incentives to the user.

Systems and methods can also be configured to take into account several other parameters such as influence of the user on decision making of others, profile/personality of the user, social contribution, product purchase details, trend history; social network level interaction, recommendations, preferences, likes and dislikes among other like attributes in order to determine and dynamically change the type, nature, and volume of points/incentives to be given to the user.
[0014] In one exemplary aspect, system of the present disclosure is configured to compute and dynamically update incentive points allocated to a user based on his activities, social interaction pattern, behavior, purchase and activity history, purchase details, personality, profile, among many other parameters in order to achieve a realistic and accurate representation of his/her contribution to the promotion of a company/entity/organization. Such companies can include but are not limited to retail companies, service providers, among many other business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies.

type of influence that they have created/generated for products of an entity. In one implementation, influence of a user A on a user B to buy a product X from an entity Y can enable user A, who has not bought the product X himself/herself to still be allocated points based on the recommendation given by the user A to user B, thereby influencing the decision of user B. Also A might have made a purchase and B's knowledge of this action might have influenced B to do the same and therefore A in this case too would be allocated certain points. Such influences can, in one implementation, be generated based on multiple user actions including but not limited to comments on posts on a social networking website, liking of posts of a social media platform, sharing of articles/posts/blogs/product reviews/product description, among other parameters, which can generate and/or influence the decision of a potential purchaser and hence can be rewarded by the respective entity. Type of relationship between users, common attributes between such relationships and people such as marital status and lifestyle factor, profile of each user, strength of such relationships between users, activities shared between users can also, individually or collectively, play a significant role in determining the kind of influence that one user can have on the decision of the other and hence the number of points of given by influence based point computation module can take into consideration all such factors.
[0018] According to one embodiment, promotion based point computation module can be configured to allocate CV points to a user based on the kind of promotional activities that he/she performs such as sharing product review with peers, colleagues, social networking with friends, commenting, likes, rating, pins, ranking, endorsing products, among other entities. The extent and quantum of points can also be based on relevance of such sharing as sharing with friends having capacity to buy the product may yield more incentive points when compared with sharing with friends who are relatively financially weaker. Similarly, many other attributes such as time of sharing, location of users, promotion, product etc will help determine the true contribution value of a user.

In another implementation, frequency of action, consistency of action, risk involved in the instant action, among other like attributes also enable optimal computation of the points for the respective users and other friends/users that contribute to the interaction with the entity awarding the points.

Activity encompasses all kinds of actions from very generic to absolute specific detailed actions. For instance, searching, chatting are generic action whereas searching for a flight ticket with A airlines from location X to location Y on date D within time period T within price range R or communicating with friend X in a one-to-one chat through photo sharing are specific detailed actions. Actions also encompass auto- generated system actions for an action done by a user. For instance posting, tagging, gaming, jogging, making payments could generate notifications, newsfeed for self and other users. All statements made towards Action or Activity or Event applies to the others as well. Every action may have in parts, or lead to several other actions, or be a subset action of a bigger action event or activity. For all these actions and events that occur, all criteria and details, micro as well as macro is used to evaluate the CV. The other actions involved may be either automated or may be performed by some other entity such as people, company etc.

Claims
1. An apparatus to measure the Contribution of people or entities and generating and
providing appropriate dynamic incentives, compensation for the user by an entity, said system comprising: one or more processors configured to execute: an economic contribution based points computation module configured to allocate points to said user based on said user's economic contribution to the entity; a social(promotional, influential) based points computation module configured to allocate points to said user based on type, magnitude, or mode of social activities that said user performs.
2. The system of claim 1 , wherein said entity is selected from a group comprising of E- retail, social apps companies, offline companies and stores, service providers, insurance companies, credit card companies, banks, hotels, banks, business-to-business companies, business-to-consumer companies.

The system of claim 1 , wherein said system further comprises an action based points computation module configured to allocate said Contribution Value based on the activity, kind, extent, and type of activities .activity attributes and details undertaken by user such as - economic activities such as shopping, selling, advertising; social activities such as posts, messages, emails, likes, comments, pins, ranking, ratings, reviews, blogging, searches; lifestyle, gaming, traveling, exercising activities; professional, personal, educational, entertainment, day-to-day activities among others.
4. The system of claim 1 , wherein said Contribution Value is determined and generated based on attributes and details of Person/Consumer, Place/ Channel, Product/
Commodity, Promotion, Price, Process, Circumstances, Corporation, Market conditions, Market share, Brand value, Transaction, Agreement, Contract or Partnership, event, action or activity, Payment and Financial, Cost, Communication, Physical evidence, Packaging, Competitor.
5. The system of claim 1, wherein Contribution Value is determined and generated based on Timing Related factors such as time gap, recent activity, frequency, earliness, activity per unit time, activity trend, timing, consistency and time spent.

The system of claim 1 , wherein Contribution Value is determined based and generated based on details of person's activities, details and attributes of these activities, such as general activities; Future Commitments; Exclusivity and Percentage Commitments; Advance payments; activity History/ Past activity; experience and knowledge; learning gap; ripple effect; Positive Lucky Happening; diversity of activity; throughput;
shadowing details; alternatives and options; Visibility; trials; interest accumulated on points earned; accomplishments; risk; probable future actions, effort; endorsements; consistency of activity; gaming; tasks completed; sharing; problems solved; feedback given; accomplishments and achievements; costs involved and returns obtained through person's activities and their attributes and details.

The system of claim 1 , wherein Contribution Value is determined and generated based on impact of Person's activity and details such as Personality and Profile data, Physical attributes, health attributes, professional attributes, skill attributes, hobbies, interests, educational attributes, financial attributes and details, personal attributes, traits, perceived attributes, power attributes, lifestyle and social attributes, behavior attributes, character attributes , perception attributes, fame, popularity and accomplishment related attributes, beliefs among other general attributes. In the embodiment, anything that could be described as a person's attribute, detail, related information, behavior, eccentricity, belief system, social network, followers.
8. The system of claim 1, wherein Contribution Value is determined based and generated based on criteria and details and attributes, degrees and strengths of relationships, proximities, relevance, contribution area, commonness, relativity of entities.

The system of claim 10, wherein Contribution Value points are converted to incentives directly or are determined by using ratio of user's points to total outstanding points of all users or said entity and using financial instrument such as net worth, dividend, profits to determine the incentive value to be given. And these incentive points comprises one or a combination incentives such as equity in said entity, discounts, gifts, rewards, titles, action-impact points, better price, better terms and conditions, offers, coupons, gift cards vouchers, loyalty points, points, cash back, money back, purchase points, gift cards, bonus, dividends, interest, credit, commission, profit-sharing, stock, stock options, shares, bonds, warrants or any financial document, instrument of financial worth, free gifts, compensation, consultation, salary, fees, commission, healthcare benefits, travel benefits, leave benefits, insurance, amenities, credit, EMI facility, low rate of interest, or no interest.

An apparatus for issuing Contribution Value, Incentives to a user by an entity comprising the steps of: identifying an action or activity taken by or relating to said user; evaluating said user based on profile or attributes of said user; computing impact of said action or activity on said entity, wherein computation of said impact is based on evaluated user profile or attributes; allocating points to said user based on computed impact; and issuing incentives to said user based on said allocated points.
