Definitions
- This invention relates to a wire harness having a bending restriction function.
- a wire harness body composed of a bundle of electric wires is not a rigid body, and therefore can be freely bent in a range of 360 ° around a fixing point provided by a position fixing connector or a clamp provided in the wire harness body. Therefore, it has a property that variation occurs in a wide range.
- the wire harness body is covered with a protective material having a path regulation function such as a protector to regulate the variation range of the wire harness body, thereby regulating the variation of the wire harness body. That is, by storing the wire harness body in the storage area of the protective material that has a path regulation function such as a protector, it is possible to ensure that the wire harness interferes with other parts, etc. that are arranged within the pre-regulation variation range. It can be avoided.
- a wire harness protection structure for example, there is a wire harness protection structure disclosed in Patent Document 1.
- the protective material having a path regulation function such as a protector has a storage area formed in advance and completely suppresses the variation of the wire harness main body in the storage area. Therefore, the wire harness composed of the wire harness main body and the protector Since there is no flexibility in bending, it is difficult to assemble the wire harness in places where flexibility is required, where bending is required, and where extra work length is required (for example, the back of audio) There was a point.
- the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to obtain a wire harness having a structure that reduces the variation range of the wire harness body and has flexibility in assembly.
- a wire harness comprising: a wire harness main body; and a plate-like bending regulating member fixed by a fixing member between first and second fixing points in a longitudinal direction of the wire harness main body.
- the bending restricting member has a bending restricting function capable of being bent together with the wire harness main body only in one bending permissible direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
- the Invention of Claim 2 is the wire harness of Claim 1, Comprising:
- the said bending control member is a polyethylene sheet,
- the length direction of the said polyethylene sheet corresponds to the said longitudinal direction,
- the thickness direction is the said bending
- both ends thereof are fixed to the wire harness body in such a manner as to match the first and second fixing points.
- the invention of claim 3 is the wire harness according to claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the fixing member extends from the first fixing point to the second fixing point, and the bending restricting member and the wire harness. It has a tape material fixed by winding the outer periphery of the main body.
- a fourth aspect of the invention is the wire harness according to any one of the first to third aspects, wherein the fixing member includes the bending restriction at each of the first and second fixing points.
- 1st and 2nd clamp which fixes a member and the said wire harness main body, and the said 1st and 2nd clamp is respectively wound on the outer periphery of the said bending control member and the said wire harness main body, and is a belt-like belt And an attachment portion that can be attached to the attachment target portion.
- this invention of Claim 1 has the bending control function by a plate-shaped bending control member, since it can control the dispersion
- a wire harness can be arranged so as not to interfere with components and the like.
- the wire harness of the present invention has flexibility to allow variation in the bending allowable direction, so that the wire harness can be assembled to a vehicle or the like while being bent in the bending allowable direction, thereby improving the mounting workability of the wire harness. Can be achieved.
- the present invention of claim 2 uses a plate-like polyethylene sheet as a bending restricting member, so that even when bending in the thickness direction, which is a bending allowable direction, is repeated between the first and second fixing points, the sheet is cut. The strength against breakage and elongation is maintained.
- the bending restricting member can be fixed to the wire harness body at a relatively low cost by the tape material.
- the first and second clamps of the present invention according to claim 4 can fix the bending restricting member and the wire harness main body with high accuracy at the first and second fixing points, and can be attached to the attachment target portion by the respective attachment portions. Can be installed.
- FIG. 1 is an explanatory view showing a polyethylene sheet which is a bending restricting member in the wire harness according to the first embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 4A is a perspective view
- FIG. 4B is a cross-sectional view taken along the line AA.
- an XYZ orthogonal coordinate system and an xyz orthogonal coordinate system are attached as necessary.
- the polyethylene sheet 1 is formed in a plate shape with the xy plane shown in FIG.
- the plane portion of the polyethylene sheet 1 has a vertically long shape with a sufficiently long length (y direction) with respect to the width (x direction). Further, the thickness (z direction) is set to be sufficiently thinner than the width.
- the polyethylene sheet 1 can be bent only in the bending allowable direction F1, which is the direction along the z-axis of the thin thickness portion, and the other direction (length direction (y direction), width direction ( Bending in the x direction and the like) has a bending restriction function to be restricted.
- FIG. 2 is an explanatory view schematically showing the structure of the wire harness 11 (12) according to the first embodiment.
- the polyethylene sheet 1 is made such that the length direction (y direction) of the polyethylene sheet 1 coincides with the length direction of the wire bundle 10 (wire harness body) extending in the length direction (Y direction). 1 flat portion is brought into close contact with the outer periphery of the wire bundle 10.
- positioning is performed such that one end in the length direction (y direction) of the polyethylene sheet 1 coincides with the fixing point P1 of the wire bundle 10 and the other end in the length direction of the polyethylene sheet 1 coincides with the fixing point P2.
- fixing points P1 and P2 of the wire bundle 10 for example, fixing positions such as connectors and clamps are attached to select the fixing positions.
- a structure for fixing the belt support portion 53 and the other end portion of the belt portion 54 for example, a structure in which a hook groove provided in the other end portion of the belt portion 54 and a meshing portion provided in the belt support portion 53 are engaged and fixed. Etc. are considered.
- the insertion part 51 (attachment part) is provided above the belt support part 53.
- the insertion part 51 can be attached to the attachment target part by inserting the belt clamp 50A (50B) into the attachment hole of the attachment object such as the body of the automobile.
- a structure in which the second structure is combined with the first structure is also conceivable. That is, after winding the outer periphery of the wire harness 11 and the electric wire bundle 10 with the mounting tape 5, the combination structure which fixes the polyethylene sheet 1 and the electric wire bundle 10 with the belt clamps 50A and 50B is also considered.
- the wire harness 11 (12) having the above-described structure is bent in one direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (Y direction) of the wire bundle 10 by the plate-like polyethylene sheet 1 fixed between the fixing points P1 and P2 of the wire bundle 10. It has a bending restriction function that can be bent only in the allowable direction F1 (Z direction).
- FIG. 3 is an explanatory view schematically showing the effect of the wire harness 11 (12) of the first embodiment.
- FIG. 4A shows the bent state of the wire harness in the YZ plane
- FIG. 4B shows the bent state of the wire harness in the XZ plane as viewed from the viewing direction D1 in FIG.
- illustration of the polyethylene sheet 1 is abbreviate
- the wire harness 11 Since the wire harness 11 is mounted with the polyethylene sheet 1 which is a bending restricting member between the fixing points P1 and P2 (see FIG. 2), the wire harness 11 has variable directions F11 and F12 (variable along the bending allowable direction F1). Only the direction opposite to the direction F11 is allowed to bend in the variable direction F12), and bending in the other direction is suppressed.
- the maximum variation due to bending on the variable direction F11 side is the assumed bending region V11a
- the maximum variation due to bending on the variable direction F12 side is the assumed bending region V11b. That is, the variation range of the wire harness 11 of the present embodiment can be restricted to the variation range of the assumed bending region V11a to the assumed bending region V11b only in the bending allowable direction F1 (variable directions F11 and F12).
- the plate-like polyethylene sheet 1 which is a bending restricting member of the wire harness 11 (12) of the present embodiment has one bending allowable direction F1 (Z) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (Y direction) of the wire bundle 10. Only in the direction), it has a bending restriction function that can be bent together with the wire bundle 10 that is the wire harness body.
- the wire harness 11 (12) of this Embodiment can regulate the dispersion
- the fixing points P1, P2 are fixed by connectors, clamps, etc., and the wire harness 11 does not rotate around the fixing points P1, P2. Therefore, since the variation range of the wire harness 11 can be reliably restricted only in the Z direction, for example, other components or the like can be arranged at a position relatively close to the X direction with respect to the wire harness 11.
- the wire harness 11 when the wire harness 11 having a work surplus length is arranged on the back of the audio arrangement part of the vehicle, the wire harness 11 has the above-described bending restriction function, and therefore does not cause a large variation. Since sound and deterioration due to vibration of the wire harness 11 are suppressed, the quality of the wire harness 11 can be improved.
- the wire harness 11 has the flexibility to allow variation in the bending allowable direction F1
- the wire harness can be assembled to a vehicle or the like while being bent in the bending allowable direction F1, so that the wiring harness can be attached easily. Improvements can be made.
- the assembly workability can be improved by performing the assembly work while bending in the bending allowable direction F1 when the wire harness 11 is assembled to the vehicle.
- the polyethylene sheet 1 is required as a bending restricting member, and since it does not require a dedicated protective member such as a protector, it can be realized with a relatively simple configuration, and the cost can be reduced.
- the wire harness 11 can fix the polyethylene sheet 1 to the wire bundle 10 at a relatively low cost by the mounting tape 5 which is a tape material.
- the wire harness 12 is fixed to the polyethylene sheet 1 and the electric wire bundle 10 at the fixing points P1 and P2 with high accuracy by the belt clamps 50A and 50B (first and second clamps), and the insertion portion 51 serving as an attachment portion.
- the belt clamp 50A (50B) can be attached to the attachment target portion.
- the wire harness main body should just be comprised with at least 1 electric wire.
