次いで、ペット用吸収性物品1を第1端部11の近傍まで丸めたら、図10Bに示すように、第1端部11のフックテープ7が配置された部分を、フックテープ7が表面シート2側に位置するように折り返す。
尚、第2実施形態以降の説明にあたって、同一構成要件については同一符号を付し、その説明を省略もしくは簡略化する。
具体的には、図11A及び図11Bに示すように、第2実施形態では、裏面シート31は、ペット用吸収性物品1の長手方向LDの中央よりも第1端部11側の領域のみに配置される。即ち、ペット用吸収性物品1の外面側においては、全面に防水シート32が配置されており、裏面シート31は、この防水シート32における第1端部11側の半分の領域を覆っている。
具体的には、図12A及び図12Bに示すように、第3実施形態では、裏面シート31は、第1端部11側の端縁から所定の長さL3の範囲の領域には、配置されない。即ち、裏面シート31は、ペット用吸収性物品1の長手方向LDの中央よりも第1端部11側の領域であって、かつ、第1端部11側の端縁から所定の長さL3の範囲の領域を除く領域に配置される。また、フックテープ7は、第1端部11における裏面シート31が配置されない領域に配置される。
以上のペット用吸収性物品1によれば、図12A及び図12Bに示すように、第1端部11におけるフックテープ7が配置された部分の第2端部12側に、裏面シート31を含まない低剛性領域16(主として、表面シート2及び防水シート32により構成される低剛性領域16)が形成される。
例えば、第1実施形態~第3実施形態では、第1端部11の外面にフックテープ7を配置すると共に、第2端部12の内面にループ材8を配置し、フックテープ7とループ材8とを係合させたが、これに限らない。即ち、表面シート及びサイドシートを、フック部が係合可能な不織布により構成し、これら表面シート及びサイドシートにより第2端部12の内面を構成してもよい。これにより、ループ材を用いることなくペット用吸収性物品を製造できるので、ペット用吸収性物品1の製造コストを低減できる。

Claims (6)
- 液透過性の表面層、液不透過性の裏面層及び該表面層及び該裏面層の間に配置される吸収体を備えると共に、互いに対向する第1端部及び第2端部と、該第1端部及び第2端部に直交し互いに対向する一対の側部と、を有して矩形形状に構成され、ペットの胴回りに巻きつけられた状態で、前記第1端部がペットの身体側に配置されると共に、前記第2端部が前記第1端部の外面に着脱可能に取り付けられるペット用吸収性物品であって、
前記第1端部の外面側に配置され、前記第2端部の内面を係止可能な係止部材を更に備えると共に、前記裏面層の外面の少なくとも一部は、該係止部材が係止可能な部材により構成され、
前記第1端部における前記係止部材が配置された部分の前記第2端部側には、該係止部材が配置された部分よりも剛性の小さい低剛性領域が形成されるペット用吸収性物品。 - 前記係止部材は、帯状に構成されると共に、該係止部材の長手方向が前記ペット用吸収性物品の幅方向に沿うように配置される請求項1に記載のペット用吸収性物品。
- 前記第1端部は、前記表面層及び前記裏面層が前記吸収体の端縁から延出して構成され、
前記低剛性領域は、前記表面層及び前記裏面層が前記吸収体の端縁から延出した部分により構成される請求項1又は2に記載のペット用吸収性物品。 - 前記低剛性領域の前記ペット用吸収性物品の長手方向に沿う方向の長さは、前記係止部材の前記ペット用吸収性物品の長手方向に沿う方向の長さ以上である請求項1~3のいずれかに記載のペット用吸収性物品。
- 前記係止部材は、複数のフック部を有するフックテープにより構成され、
前記裏面層の外面は、前記複数のフック部が係合可能な不織布により構成される請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のペット用吸収性物品。 - 前記表面層は、前記複数のフック部が係合可能な不織布により構成される請求項5に記載のペット用吸収性物品。
