Abstract

The invention relates to a wire device for treating a fibrous material suspension (1) that is suitable for generating a paper, cardboard, tissue or other fibrous material web, comprising a rotationally symmetrical, rotating wire element (2) having wire openings (3) which are guided past at least one nozzle (4), which directs a jet of the fibrous material suspension (1) at the wire element (2). The manufacturing complexity and the energy requirement are to be reduced by designing the wire element (2) as a woven fabric.
