Abstract

An electric bus, equipped with a traction chain (1), comprising at least an electric traction motor (2), a battery box (3) with traction batteries, a traction inverter (4), a control unit (5) and other utility equipment, wherein the traction chain (1) is arranged into a compact but separable unit that is located in a vertical arrangement immediately behind the drive axle (6) of the electric bus.
