Abstract

The invention applies to the transport sector and may be used in rail transport. Trains sections' controlling device contains transmitting antenna 1 installed at each traffic light, a train-mounted receiving antenna 2, data reception unit 3, distance meter 4, wheel set tyre diameter meter 5, speed meter 6, acceleration meter 7, locomotive's braking unit 8, data storage unit 9 with the additional input for data base programming, train-mounted satellite communication receiver 10, object distance to next control point detector 11, emergency braking program unit 12, emergency braking way detector 13 and also contains traffic lights lamps 14 connected to traffic lights state signal generator 15 which is connected to transmitting antenna 1 installed at each traffic light, but data reception unit 4 is connected with traffic lights selection device 16, which is connected to data storage unit 9 with the additional input for data base programming and to route control point achievement checking unit 17, which is linked with data storage unit 9 with the additional input for data base programming and with data reception unit 3, which output is connected to speed limit detector 18, which outputs are connected to working braking way detector 19, which is connected to speed meter 6 and to working braking starting point detector 20, which is linked with data storage unit 9 with the additional input for data base programming, but working braking starting point achievement checking unit 21 is connected to data reception unit 3 and to working braking starting point detector 20 and linked with working braking signalisation device 22 in cabin, but working braking process beginning checking unit 23 is connected to locomotive's braking unit 8 and linked with emergency braking control unit 12. Trains sections' controlling device with speed limit detector 18 sets which speed of the train must be on the next section according to traffic lights' signals, which are generated by traffic lights state signal generator 15 in accordance to traffic lights lamps 14 state. Working braking way detector 19 defines working braking way length, but working braking starting point detector 20 defines point in the route, where braking process should start. Working braking starting point achievement checking unit 21 evaluates position of the train and working braking starting point and switch on braking signalisation device in cabin 22, which informs about necessity to start braking. But working braking beginning unit 23 evaluates if braking process is released. Train's sections' controlling device warns driver about necessity to start working braking, taking in account signal of traffic light and speed limitation and allow timely automatically actuating emergency braking and stopping the train, which prevents collisions of trains on any railway section.˙

Description

CONTROLLING DEVICE OF RAILWAY TRACK SECTIONS
The invention relates to the area of transport and can be used in railway transport.
There is known a train emergency braking device (patent LV 13978, published on 20.11.2009), containing a generator which has an additional input for a station electric centralization equipment with installed transmitting antenna being connected with an antenna receiving traffic light signal, in its turn being connected to the information receiving block. Besides that it contains a rotation angle measuring device installed on a train wheel. The rotation angle measuring device is being connected with a way meter, wheel tread diameter meter and speedometer with installed meter of acceleration, which in its turn is being connected with input of braking effectiveness detector input of which is being connected with meter of braking pressure connected to a train braking system. The known device contains also satellite communication receivers being installed at the beginning of each track segment, satellite communication receiver being installed at the train, detector of the distance to the objects, detector of the braking way, block of emergency braking program and amplifier connected with the braking system of the train. The satellite communication receiver installed at the train is being connected to the information receiving block, which in its turn is being connected to the detector of the distance to the objects attached to the detector of the braking way and connected with the amplifier.
The disadvantage of the known device is that it stops the train in front of the inhibitory block section and does not provide for the control of the speed of the train if speed restrictions are being set at the next block section, as well as does not provide the initial control of the regular braking.
The goal of the invention is an increase of the train movement safety.
The proposed device for controlling train movement sections contains transmitting antenna installed at each traffic light point, traffic lights signal receiving antenna being installed at the train, information receiving block, way sector detector comprising train wheel rotation angle measuring device and distance measuring device, train wheel tread diameter measuring device, speedometer, acceleration measuring device, locomotive braking block, comprising device for measuring pressure in the braking system, detector of the braking effectiveness, amplifier of the braking control signal and braking system of the train, data storage block, satellite communication receiver installed at the train, detector of the distance to the next control point, block of the emergency braking program and detector of the emergency braking way.
In contrast to the closest prior art, the offered device additionally contains a generator of signals of traffic light condition, being connected to the traffic lights, device for selection of the traffic light transmitter, detector of speed limitation, block for checking the reaching the route control point, detector of the regular braking way, detector of the starting point of regular braking, block for checking the reaching the starting point of regular braking, braking signaling device in the cabin and block for controlling starting of regular braking. The generator of signals of traffic light condition is being connected to the transmitting antenna installed at each traffic light at each block point. The device for selection of the traffic light transmitter is connected to an information receiving block, to a data storage block and block for testing of route control point reaching. The detector of the regular braking way (distance) is being connected to the speedometer, the detector of speed limitation and the detector of starting point of regular braking, being connected to the block for checking the reaching the starting point of regular braking in its turn connected to the data storage block and the braking signaling device in the cabin. Block for controlling start of regular braking is being connected with locomotive braking block and block of emergency braking program.
Fig. 1 is a block diagram of the device for controlling railway track sections, where

10 - satellite communication receiver installed at the train;
11 - detector of the distance to the next control point;
12 - block of emergency braking program;
13 - detector of the emergency braking way (distance);
14 - lamps of the traffic lights; 15 - generator of signals of the traffic light condition;
16 - device for selection of the traffic light transmitter;
17 - block for checking the reaching the route control point;
18 - detector of speed limitation;
19 - detector of the regular braking distance;
20 - detector of the starting point of regular braking;
21 - block for checking the reaching the starting point of regular braking;
22 - braking signaling device in the cabin;
23 - block for controlling starting of regular braking.
The lamps 14 of the traffic light are connected to the generator of signals of the traffic light condition 15, which is connected to the transmitting antenna 1 installed at each traffic light.
The transmitting antenna 1 installed at each traffic light is connected with the traffic lights signal receiving antenna 2 installed at the train and being connected to information receiving block 3. One input of the information receiving block 3 (which contains also block for traffic light signal recognition), is connected to device for selection of the traffic light transmitter 16 the inputs of which are being connected to output of the data storage block 9 having additional input for data base programming, and output of the block for checking the reaching the route control point 17. The inputs of the block for checking the reaching the route control point 17 are being connected with the output of information receiving block 3 and output of the data storage block 9 having additional input for data base programming.
The satellite communication receiver 10 installed at the train is connected to the input of the information receiving block 3; the output of the block 3 is being connected with data storage block 9 and the detector of the distance to the next control point 11, the input of which is being connected to the output of the data storage block 9; the output of the detector 11 is connected with the block of emergency braking program 12, which output is connected to the locomotive braking block 8; the input of block 12 is being connected in parallel with the detector of the emergency braking distance 13 and the data storage block 9; the inputs of the detector of the emergency braking distance 13 in turn are in parallel connected with output of the locomotive braking block 8, output of the speedometer 6 and output of the wheel tread diameter measuring device 5. The input of the speed limitation detector 18 is connected to output of the information receiving block 3, but output of the detector 18 is being connected to input of the detector of regular braking distance 19, another input of which is being connected with output of the speedometer 6. Inputs of the detector of the starting point of regular braking 20 are in parallel connected to output of the data storage block 9 and output of the detector of regular braking distance 19; output of the detector 20 is connected with the block for checking the reaching the starting point of regular braking 21, the input of which in its turn is connected to output of the information receiving block 3, but output - to the braking signaling device 22 in the cabin.
Input of the block for controlling starting of regular braking 23 is connected with output of the locomotive braking block 8, but the output of the block 23 - to input of the block of emergency braking program 12.
Outputs of the distance sector detector 4 are being connected with input of the data storage block 9, input of the speedometer 6 and input of the wheel tread diameter measuring device 5, which output is connected with input of the data storage block 9; output of the speedometer 6 is connected with acceleration measuring device 7.
Inputs of the locomotive braking block 8 are being connected to output of the acceleration measuring device 7 and output of the data storage block 9.
The offered device for controlling train movement section operates in the following way.
The block for checking the reaching the route control point 17 obtains signal on position of the train location from the information receiving block 3, which receives it from the satellite communication receiver 10 installed at the train, and checks whether the control point information on which is stored in the block 9, is achieved. The device for selection of the traffic light transmitter 16 selects the traffic light point from the data storage device 9 in correspondence with the achieved control point and transmits these data to information receiving block 3.
The device for controlling railway track sections generates the signals according to condition of traffic light lamp 14 by means of the generator of signals of the traffic light condition 15 and, using antenna 1 installed at each traffic light, transmits the signals to the traffic lights signal receiving antenna 2, which in its turn transmits them to the information receiving block 3. The detector of speed limitation 18 defines what speed should be reached according to the decoded signal of traffic light obtained from the information receiving block 3. The detector of regular braking distance 19 detects the regular braking distance to speed limitation point including distance for preparing braking on the basis of indices of the speedometer 6, but the detector of the starting point of regular braking 20 defines the point on the route when the braking should be started taking into account the limitation of the speed and route data on which are being obtained from the data storage block 9. The block for checking the reaching the starting point of regular braking 21 evaluates location of the train on the grounds of information received from the block 3 and defines starting point for regular braking; if the distance is minimal, it operates braking signaling device 22 in the cabin informing about the necessity of emergency braking.
The block for controlling starting of regular braking 23 checks whether the regular braking is started and sends controlling signal to the block of emergency braking program 12.
The technical advantage of the offered device is in increasing of the train movement safety at any railway sector. The device warns the driver about the necessity of starting process of the braking taking into account signal of the traffic lights and speed limitation and allows in time automatic operating of the emergency braking and stop the train preventing trains collision.

Claims

A device for controlling train movement sections comprising a transmitting antenna (1) installed at each traffic light, a traffic lights signal receiving antenna (2) installed at train, an information receiving block (3) installed at the train, a distance sector detector (4), a wheel tread diameter measuring device (5), a speedometer (6), an acceleration measuring device (7), a locomotive braking block (8), a data storage block (9) having additional data base programming input, a satellite communication receiver (10) installed at the train, a detector of the distance to the next control point (11), a block of emergency braking program (12), a detector of emergency braking distance (13), characterized in that the device comprises a generator of signals of the traffic light condition (15) being connected to lamps (14) of traffic lights and to the transmitting antenna (1); a device for selection of the traffic light transmitter (16) being connected to input of the information receiving block (3); the device (16) being also connected with the data storage block (9) and a block for checking the reaching the route control point (17), which in turn is being connected with the data storage block (9) and the information receiving block (3); the output of the block (3) is being connected with a detector of speed limitation (18), which output is connected with a detector of the regular braking way (19), being connected with the speedometer (6) and a detector of the starting point of regular braking (20), which is connected with the data storage block (9); a block for checking the reaching the starting point of regular braking (21) is connected with the information receiving block (3), the detector of the starting point of regular braking (20) and braking signaling device (22) in the cabin, but a block for controlling starting of regular braking (23) is being connected with the locomotive braking block (8) and the block of emergency braking program (12).
