Abstract
La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de production d'hydrocarbures à partir d'un réservoir d'hydrocarbures. Le procédé comprend la réalisation d'un puits de forage sensiblement horizontal ayant au moins un intervalle productif dans un réservoir d'hydrocarbures et la formation d'au moins une rupture transversale non conductrice dans le réservoir le long du puits de forage sensiblement horizontal. Un puits d'injection est également réalisé. Un fluide est injecté dans le réservoir par le puits d'injection afin de déplacer les hydrocarbures se trouvant dans le réservoir vers une partie production du puits de forage sensiblement horizontal. Les hydrocarbures sont évacués depuis le réservoir dans au moins un intervalle de production du puits de forage sensiblement horizontal. La production de fluide provenant du ou des intervalles de production dans le puits de forage sensiblement horizontal s'écoule dans un dispositif de régulation d'écoulement entrant qui peut limiter l'écoulement de fluide. Une rupture transversale non conductrice peut former une barrière dans le réservoir pour dévier les fluides injectés afin d'augmenter l'efficacité de balayage et de réduire l'arrivée de fluides injectés dans l'intervalle de production.
