Definitions
- the invention relates to a liquid pump device in the form of a syringe-like device, an injection syringe or a dispenser for the metered dispensing or injection of fluids such as in particular liquids, also in the form of a spray, or liquid or pasty masses or pastes, with a reservoir for the fluid and a dispenser for metered dispensing of the fluid.
- the invention is particularly suitable for the metered dispensing of dyes, adhesives and sealants as well as food masses such as spice sauces and spreads, or for the metered injection of, for example, vaccines, medicaments or other, for example, dental substances.
- an applicator device in which a liquid mass is delivered by the pressure of a spring-loaded piston, when by pressing an operating knob an annular groove of a displaceable valve body is brought into alignment with passage channels for the liquid mass.
- a device which has a lever with which by pulling a connecting tube and a piston is displaced in the direction of an outlet opening of a applicator, whereby a valve opens and displaced according to the advancement of the piston volume is discharged to liquid from a chamber.
- a return spring pushes the connecting tube together with the piston back to the starting position, so that the valve closes and opens another valve, is sucked through the liquid again in the chamber.
- a disadvantage of these known devices is that they are composed of a variety of items and thus structurally relatively complex and expensive to manufacture.
- An object of the invention is therefore to provide a liquid pump device of the type mentioned, with the structurally relatively simple and thus inexpensive construction accurate metering of the discharged fluid in a simple and reliable manner is possible.
- BESTATIGUNGSKOPIE of the type mentioned above, with a reservoir for the fluid and a delivery device for the fluid, the delivery device having a pump tube in which a volume for the fluid is defined by means of a hermetically guided piston, the piston being used to change the fluid Volume is displaced along the pump tube, and wherein the fluid is sucked at an increase in the volume through a first check valve from the reservoir, and is discharged at a reduction of the volume through a second check valve from the volume and through a drain tube from the liquid pump device.
- a particular advantage of this solution is that the liquid pump device is easy and reliable to handle, with a precisely metered delivery of the fluid is possible in any orientation of the device, including in a discharge direction upward, so that the workflow facilitates even under difficult conditions and is accelerated. This even applies to an application of the liquid pump device under weightless conditions.

- FIG. 7 shows an exemplary application member for a fluid pump device according to the invention.
- FIG. 1 shows schematically an overall view of a liquid pump device according to the invention according to a first embodiment.
- the device comprises a storage container 1 in which the fluid M to be dispensed or to be injected through a drainage tube 4 is located.
- the storage container 1 is preferably cylindrical, but may also have other shapes.
- Within the reservoir 1 is preferably a reservoir-piston 2, which rests on the fluid M and hermetically seals with the inner wall of the reservoir 1.
- a reservoir-piston 2 which rests on the fluid M and hermetically seals with the inner wall of the reservoir 1.
- the liquid pump apparatus further comprises a dispenser having substantially a pump tube 7 and a first check valve 5 for supplying fluid from the reservoir 1 into the pump tube 7 and a second check valve 6 for discharging fluid from the pump tube 7 into the drain tube 4 in the pump tube 7 a hermetically sealed with the inner wall of the pump tube 7 piston 9 are located det, with the within the pump tube 7 a volume for the fluid M is delimited.
- the piston 9 is displaceable to change this volume in the pump tube 7, wherein the fluid M is sucked at an increase in volume through the first check valve 5 from the reservoir 1 into the volume and at a reduction of the volume through the second check valve 6 the volume and through the drain tube 4 is discharged from the liquid pump device.
- the piston 9 is preferably acted upon by the force of a compression or tension spring 8, with which this is displaced in one of the two directions, while the displacement of the piston 9 takes place in the other direction manually by means of an associated with the piston 9 operating knob 12, either by pressing, preferably until the operating knob 12 abuts against a first stop 91a on the pump tube 7, or by pulling on the actuating knob 12, preferably until the piston 9 abuts against this first stop 91a or another stop inside the pump tube 7.
- the pressure or tension spring 8 can be attached to three different locations, namely either, as shown in Figure 1, between the piston 9 and the first stop 91a opposite end 92 of the pump tube. 7 , or between the piston 9 and the first stop 91a (see Figure 4), or between the operating knob 12 and the first stop 91a (see Figure 5).
- On the drainage tube 4 may preferably be suitable for the application in question or the fluid to be dispensed applicator e.g. in the form of an injection needle, a brush or a nozzle or screwed by means of a thread 41.
- the said components of the dispenser are located in a region of the liquid pump device below the reservoir 1, so that there is a relatively simple structure and ease of use (similar to a writing instrument).
- the bottom of the storage container 1 has an opening 31 (see FIGS. 2 and 6) through which the fluid M can be sucked into the delivery device.
- the components of the delivery device according to the first embodiment will be described below with reference to the detail of Figure 2. In this figure, only the bottom region of the storage container 1 with the fluid M to be delivered is shown next to the delivery device. Identical parts or components as in FIG. 1 are designated by the same reference numerals in FIG.
- the first and second check valves 5, 6 are each in the form of a first or second ball-spring system.
- the first ball-spring system 5 comprises a ball 51 and a spring 52 which are guided in a tube 53, the first opening in the opening 31 in the bottom of the reservoir 1 and the second opening in a first opening in the wall of the Pump tube 7 is located.
- the spring 52 is a compression spring and presses with one end the ball 51 against the possibly a sealing ring for the ball 51 having opening 31 in the bottom of the reservoir 1, so that it is thereby closed for the fluid. At its other end, the spring 52 rests against a shoulder or abutment 54 in the tube 53.
- the second ball-spring system 6 is constructed in the same way and comprises a ball 61 and a compression spring 62, which are guided in a tube 63.
- a first opening of the tube 63 is located in a second opening in the wall of the pump tube 7, while a fluid connection to the drainage tube 4 is made via a second opening of the tube 63.
- the compression spring 62 acts between the ball 61 and a shoulder or an abutment 64 within the tube 63, so that the ball 61 is pressed against the second, possibly a sealing ring for the ball 61 having opening in the wall of the pump tube 7, so that it is thereby closed for the fluid.
- Another component of the dispensing device is the pump tube 7 with the first stop 91a at a first end and the second end 92 opposite thereto, in which the spring 8 and the piston 9 are guided, wherein the spring 8 is preferably a compression spring and acts between the second end 92 of the pump tube 7 and the piston 9 and thus exerts a pressure on the piston 9 in the direction of the first stop 91a.
- the spring 8 according to the representation of the pump tube 7 in Figure 3 between a shoulder or an abutment 92a and the piston. 9 act, wherein the shoulder or the abutment 92a on the inner wall of the pump tube 7 between the openings for the first and the second check valve 5, 6 on the one hand and the piston 9 is located so that the spring 8 does not have the openings for the check valves 5, 6 extends and the piston 9 also can not be moved over these openings.
- a further alternative is to attach a tension spring 8 between the piston 9 and the first stop 91a according to the illustration of the pump tube 7 in FIG. 4, so that it would displace the piston 9 in the same direction as the compression spring shown in FIG toward the first stop 91a.
- This alternative would have the advantage that the volume for the fluid would remain free and the spring 8 would not be exposed to the fluid.
- the piston 9 can be arranged by means of a relative to the first stop 91 a and outside of the pump tube 7 and connected to the piston 9
- Actuating knob 12 against the force of the compression spring 8 (or the aforementioned tension spring) are pressed in the direction of the second end 92 of the pump tube 7. To adjust the path length with which the piston 9 can be pressed, this is preferably connected via a threaded mechanism 10, 11 with the actuating knob 12.
- the thread mechanism includes a
- Threaded rod 10 which can be screwed into a threaded sleeve 11 and rotated out of this, in the illustrated case, the threaded rod 10 is fixed to the piston 9 and the threaded sleeve 11 on the actuating knob 12.
- the threaded rod 10 and the threaded sleeve 11 are secured together so that the threaded sleeve 11 can not be completely turned off by the threaded rod 10.
- the function of the dispenser can be disabled, since in this case the operating knob 12 can not be (further) pressed. This effectively prevents fluid from being accidentally released, for example during transport of the fluid pump device, by pressure on the actuating button 12.
- the first stop 91a is provided with a bore for the threaded rod 10 and serves in this way also for guiding the threaded rod 10th
- the amount of fluid to be dispensed can be adjusted very easily and accurately.
- the dispensing itself then takes place by pressing the actuating knob 12 as far as the first stop 91a, whereby a corresponding pressure is exerted on the fluid present in the pump tube 7 by means of the hermetically sealed piston 9 on the inner wall of the pump tube 7 and thereby the second ball Spring system 6 opens so that the fluid can escape through the drain tube 4.
- the first ball-spring system 5 is kept closed at the same time, so that the fluid can not flow back into the reservoir 1.
- a tension spring between the piston 9 and the second end 92 of the pump tube 7 or a compression spring between the piston 9 and the first stop 91a could be used, in which cases the suction of fluid from the reservoir into the pump tube 7 by manually pulling out the actuating knob 12 and discharging the fluid M by the force of one of these springs.
- a compression or tension spring 8 between the first stop 91a and the actuating button 12, as is indicated schematically in FIG. 5, so that the spring 8 is not located inside the pump tube 7 and could be easily replaced if necessary by turning the operating knob 12.
- the volume which can be changed in size, into which the fluid M is aspirated by enlarging the volume and then released again by reducing the volume, is located between the piston 9 and the first one
- the openings in the pump tube 7 for the first and second check valves 5, 6 are also located between the piston 9 and the second end 92 of the pump tube 7.
- FIG. 6 shows the components of the delivery device of a second embodiment of the fluid pump device according to the invention.
- the same components as in the first embodiment are designated by the same reference numerals in FIG.
- the essential difference in comparison with the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 is that, in the second embodiment, the openings in the pump tube 7 for the first and second check valves 5, 6 are located between the first stop 91a and the piston 9 Preferably, between these openings and the piston 9 within the pump tube 7, a second stop 91b is arranged for the piston 9, so that the piston 9 can not get in front of these openings.
- variable volume of the fluid between the piston 9 and the first stop 91a is variable. Consequently, this volume is increased by a depression or retraction of the piston 9 in the direction of the second end 92 of the pump tube 7 and thereby sucked fluid through the first check valve 5 from the reservoir 1 into the volume, while by pushing or pulling the piston 9 in the opposite direction of this volume is reduced and thereby the fluid from the volume through the second check valve 6 and the drain tube 4 is discharged. If necessary, one could facilitate the delivery of the fluid by means of a lever mechanism (not shown) acting on the actuating knob 12.
- the piston 9 is preferably acted upon by the force of a compression or tension spring 8, with which this is displaced in one of the two directions, while the displacement of the piston 9 in the opposite direction manually by pressing or pulling on the actuating button 12 is carried out.
- the compression or tension spring 8 may be mounted at three different locations, i. either between the piston 9 and the second end 92 of the pumping tube 7 (as shown in FIG. 6), or between the piston 9 and the first stop 91a (see FIG. 4), or between the first stop 91a and the actuating button 12 (FIG. see FIG. 5).
- the piston 9 and the second end 92 of the pumping tube 7 as shown in FIG. 6
- the piston 9 and the first stop 91a see FIG. 4
- the actuating button 12 FIG. see FIG. 5
- the compression spring 8, as shown in Figure 6, is preferably located between the piston 9 and the second end 92 of the pump tube 7, so that it is not exposed to the fluid in the volume between the piston 9 and the first stop 91a.
- a compression or tension spring 8 which acts on the piston 9 and the operating knob 12, could also be dispensed with altogether, in which case the movement of the piston 9 in both directions done manually.
- the first and second check valves 5, 6 are again in the form of first and second ball-and-spring systems, respectively, whose parts, functions and functions with respect to the fluid passage and locking directions are the same as those described above Figure 2 and the first embodiment have been described.
- a valve seat 51a for the ball 51 of the first check valve 5 is designated, against which the ball 51 is pressed by means of the spring 52 (see FIG. 2) for closing the check valve 5.
- the spring 52 see FIG. 2
- the check valves in known per se Are fashioned, a more detailed representation of their individual parts is unnecessary.
- FIG. 6 also shows a first connection pipe 53a for the fluid connection of the opening 31 of the storage container 1 with the first check valve 5 and a second connection pipe 63a for the fluid connection of the second check valve 6 to the drainage pipe 4.
- the storage container 1 can be at least almost completely emptied. This is especially true when the (bottom) surface of the reservoir piston 2 opposite the bottom surface of the reservoir 1 is adapted to the bottom surface of the reservoir 1 with respect to its shape and course, so that both come to lie on each other at least without substantial gaps when the reservoir 1 empties and thereby small residues of the fluid can be pushed out of this.
- the liquid pumping apparatus can be easily and conveniently handled by e.g. held like a pencil and the operating knob 12 is operated with the thumb.
- FIG. 7 shows, by way of example, an application device in the form of a brush 43, which is fastened to the opening of the drainage tube 4 and which, e.g. by means of a cannula 42, which is disposed within the drain tube 4 and ends centrally within the brush 43, is uniformly soaked from the inside with fluid, so that it can be applied uniformly to an object.
- a brush 43 which is fastened to the opening of the drainage tube 4 and which, e.g. by means of a cannula 42, which is disposed within the drain tube 4 and ends centrally within the brush 43, is uniformly soaked from the inside with fluid, so that it can be applied uniformly to an object.
