Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Stimulationselektrode (11) mit einem Elektrodenschaft (14) und einer Mehrzahl von Stimulationskontaktflächen (15), die in einem ersten Abschnitt (17) des Elektrodenschafts (14) als Ringsegmente und voneinander beabstandet angeordnet sind, wobei der Abstand zwischen jeweils zwei benachbarten Stimulationskontaktflächen (15) des ersten Abschnitts (17) nicht mehr als 10 % des Umfangs des Elektrodenschafts (14) im ersten Abschnitt (17) beträgt.
