Abstract

La présente invention concerne un conduit de guidage destiné à faciliter l’insertion d’instruments flexibles dans des lumières corporelles, le conduit définissant une lumière s’étendant d’une ouverture au niveau d’une extrémité proximale du conduit à une ouverture distale au niveau de l’extrémité distale du conduit, le conduit comprend une couche extérieure formant une surface extérieure sensiblement lisse et une couche plastiquement déformable radialement à l’intérieur de la couche extérieure, la couche intérieure plastiquement déformable étant construite pour conserver sa forme lorsqu’elle est soumise à une force inférieure à un niveau seuil prédéterminé et pour prendre une nouvelle forme lorsqu’elle est soumise à une force de flexion supérieure au niveau seuil, le niveau seuil étant choisi pour être supérieur à une plage de forces auxquelles le conduit sera soumis par les instruments insérés à l’intérieur de celui-ci.
