Abstract

La présente invention concerne des diodes électroluminescentes organiques (OLED) possédant une efficacité de désaccouplement améliorée grâce à l'utilisation de caractéristiques topographiques qui diffusent la lumière. Lesdites OLED comprennent un substrat sur lequel est disposé un élément actif. Les caractéristiques topographiques sont situées dans une position telle qu'elles se trouvent dans le chemin de la lumière à longueur d'onde émise depuis l'élément actif. Dans certains modes de réalisation, les caractéristiques topographiques présentent des centres de diffusion qui diffusent la lumière à longueur d'onde émise depuis l'élément actif. Lesdits centres de diffusion peuvent être des microparticules. Dans certains modes de réalisation, les caractéristiques topographiques présentent une surface réflectrice qui réfléchit la lumière à longueur d'onde émise depuis l'élément actif. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'une diode électroluminescente organique.
