Abstract

La présente invention concerne une cheminée qui comporte : une grille, une enceinte enfermant au moins partiellement la grille et un orifice de sortie pour des gaz de fumée relié par l'intermédiaire d'au moins un volet à l'enceinte, l'enceinte étant également munie d’un passage de gaz de fumée supplémentaire s'étendant d'un côté du volet situé au niveau de la grille à un côté du volet situé au niveau de l'orifice de sortie pour les gaz de fumée. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fonctionnement d'une telle cheminée.
