Description

The invention relates to a military vehicle with a crew compartment accommodating the vehicle crew, a hydraulically operated device arranged on one side of the crew compartment, and a supply unit arranged on the opposite side of the crew compartment for operating the device, which is connected to the device via hydraulic lines.

In the case of military vehicles, such as bridge-type armored personnel carriers or vehicles equipped with a snowplow, a hydraulically operated device, such as a hydraulically operated plow blade or a hydraulically operated plow blade, is located in the area in front of the crew compartment receiving the vehicle crew.

On the opposite side of the crew compartment, viewed in the direction of travel behind the vehicle crew, the supply units for operating the hydraulically operating device, such as the hydraulic pump, the hydraulic tank, etc. housed. From the supply unit hydraulic lines lead through the crew compartment into the front area of the vehicle, in which area the hydraulically operated device is arranged.

In this type of military vehicles, the hydraulic lines routed through the crew compartment have proven to be a safety hazard to the vehicle crew. In combat situations, enemy projectiles or splinters may hit the hydraulic lines and hydraulic fluid may enter the vehicle interior. It has proven to be particularly disadvantageous that the hydraulic fluid can easily catch fire and thus lead to fire injuries or impairment of a vehicle crew due to smoke development resulting from a fire.

It is an object of the invention to reduce the risk of burn injuries or smoke poisoning for the vehicle crew in a military vehicle of the type mentioned in the introduction.

This object is achieved by arranging the hydraulic lines running around the crew compartment.

This arrangement of the hydraulic lines outside the crew compartment has the advantage that the hydraulic oil released in the event of damage to the vehicle is located outside the crew compartment, which reduces the risk of, for example, burn injuries or smoke poisoning for the vehicle occupants. Statute is reduced. The vehicle crew is not directly exposed to the danger posed by a defective hydraulic line.

An advantage is an embodiment in which the supply unit is arranged in a technology room separated from the crew compartment by a partition wall. The separation of the crew compartment and the technical room stockpiling the hydraulic components offers the advantage that no hydraulic fluid can penetrate into the crew compartment even if the supply unit hits. Preferably, the partition is designed so massive that it serves as both splinter protection, fire protection, temperature protection, sound insulation and explosion protection.

Furthermore, it is proposed that the partition has a door through which the technical room from the crew compartment, for example, for maintenance or repair purposes, walkable. Preferably, it is a pressure-tight door, which does not weaken the strength of the partition in the closed state.

According to a further embodiment, it is proposed that the hydraulic lines extend in the region between the crew compartment and the outer contour of the vehicle. This arrangement of the hydraulic lines between the outer contour of the crew compartment and the contour of the often armored vehicles has the advantage that on the one hand in case of leakage hydraulic fluid can not enter the crew compartment and also by the arrangement under the outer, often against enemy shot resistant formed vehicle outer contour reduces the risk of damage to the hydraulic lines even in the case of a vehicle under fire. It is also proposed that the hydraulic lines extend at least in sections in the niche tanks of the vehicle. Such niche tanks are arranged above the chain in chain-driven military vehicles and provide sufficient space for accommodating the hydraulic lines, so that this type of arrangement of the hydraulic lines is also suitable as retrofit solution for military vehicles already in operation. It is not necessary to make major modifications to the vehicle in operation.

A further embodiment provides that extending on both sides of the vehicle hydraulic lines are provided.

Finally, it is proposed that the device is a hydraulically operated support blade or clearing blade, as provided for example in clearance or bridge-laying armor.

Darin zeigen in schematisierter Darstellung:Further details and advantages of a military vehicle according to the invention are explained below with the aid of the accompanying drawings of an embodiment. Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht gemäß dem in Fig. 1 dargestellten Fahrzeug,2 is a plan view according to the vehicle shown in Fig. 1,

Fig. 1.1 shows a military vehicle 1, in which a hydraulically operated device 3 is provided in the front region. The hydraulically operated device 3 is supplied with hydraulic fluid via hydraulic lines 5, which are in communication with a supply unit 4. Between the device 3 and the supply unit 4 of the vehicle crew receiving crew compartment 2 is indicated by thick-line border. The crew compartment 2 forms an all-sided unit inside the military vehicle 1, in which several crew members sit next to each other seated. The hydraulically operated device 3 provided on the front side of the crew compartment 2 in the direction of travel is a support shield, as it is lowered in the case of bridge armored personnel when the bridge is laid out in order to allow the vehicle 1 to stand securely. In addition, the vehicle may have other hydraulically operated devices, for example at the rear, which are supplied with hydraulic fluid via further hydraulic lines 10, cf. Fig. 1.

The device 3 consists of an over the entire width of the vehicle extending support plate 11 which is set on two mutually parallel hydraulic cylinders 12 and lowered in the front of the vehicle 1, including the hydraulic cylinders 12 each arranged with a in a common point on the support plate Rod 13 form a kind of triangle linkage. On the opposite side of the crew compartment 2, separated by a massive partition wall 6, the technology room 7, in which, inter alia, the supply unit 4 is accommodated for the operation of all hydraulically operating devices of the vehicle 1. In addition, further electrical and mechanical components may be arranged in the technology room 7. The rear wall of the crew compartment 2 forms the massive partition wall 6, which shields the crew compartment 2 from the technology room 7. The partition wall 6 is dimensioned such that it reliably protects the crew members located in the crew compartment 2 even in the event of an explosion of components arranged in the technology room 7.

In order to avoid dangers due to escaping hydraulic fluid occurring in combat situations, the hydraulic lines 5 are arranged starting from the supply unit 4 as far as the device 3 around the crew compartment 2. The hydraulic lines 5 are guided completely outside the crew compartment 2, so that hydraulic fluid can not enter the crew compartment 2 in the event of a leak in the hydraulic system. In the exemplary embodiment, the hydraulic lines 5, starting from the supply unit 4, are guided in sections through the niche tanks 9 which are provided above the chains 14 of the vehicle 1 and serve to store fuel. The hydraulic lines 5, as shown in the illustrations in FIGS. 4 and 5, pass through the niche tanks 9 and emerge from the niche tanks 9 in the front region of the vehicle, after which they then extend along the vehicle outer contour as far as the hydraulic cylinders 12 run.

The result is an advantageous arrangement of the hydraulic lines 5 between the mutually enclosed crew compartment 2 and the outer contour of the vehicle, which is formed in the vehicle 1 shown in the embodiments of massive armor plates, so that on the one hand at a Be shot of the vehicle 1, the risk of damage to the hydraulic lines 5 is reduced in any case in the inner sections and at the same time in the event of leakage hydraulic fluid can not enter the interior of the crew compartment 2. The use of the niche tanks 9 for the passage of the hydraulic lines 5 offers the advantage that even vehicles already in use and having niche tanks 9 can be equipped according to the invention in the course of retrofitting. Alternatively, it is conceivable to pass the hydraulic lines 5 in other intermediate areas between the passenger compartment forming the crew compartment and the outer contour of the vehicle.

Finally, it is shown in FIGS. 3 and 6 that the massive partition wall 6 is provided with a pressure-resistant door 8 which opens in the direction of the technology room and via which the technology room 7 can be accessed by the crew compartment 2 for repair or maintenance work.

The inventively designed military vehicle provides improved protection of the vehicle crew, since the risk of injury to crew crew is significantly reduced by running into fire hydraulic fluid.
