Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à améliorer l'état général des ruminants et consistant à augmenter le rendement énergétique du processus métabolique des aliments en inhibant la production de méthane dans le rumen par action conjointe et simultanée de deux principes actifs utilisés en proportions relatives différentes et préparés de façon appropriée pour garantir une libération progressive. Ces composés sont incorporés aux aliments des animaux et consistent, pour le premier, en un extrait ou de l'huile d'ail, produit naturel extrait des plantes du genre Allium, ses fractions ou ses constituants, isolés ou reproduits par synthèse, et, pour le second, en un extrait ou de l'huile de cannelle, produit naturel extrait des plantes du genre Cinnamomum, ses fractions ou ses constituants, isolés ou reproduits par synthèse.
