Abstract

　有機ＥＬ表示装置は、複数の画素領域がマトリクス状に配置された基板と、第１及び第２電極と、キャリア輸送層及び非キャリア輸送層を備えた機能性材料層と、複数の画素領域をそれぞれ区画する障壁と、が形成されている。障壁には、障壁が区画する複数の画素領域におけるそれぞれ隣り合う第１画素領域から第２画素領域に亘り非キャリア輸送層を延在させる連通部が形成されている。
