Abstract

 被検者に対して超音波を送受波しエコー信号を出力する超音波送受波手段110,111と、前記エコー信号に基づいて診断対象となる血管の断層画像を生成する断層画像生成手段112とを備えた血管画像撮像装置において、前記エコー信号に基づいて前記血管の血流量を計測する血流量計測手段113と、被検者の体表をカフ211で圧迫して前記血管を駆血する駆血手段200と、前記駆血手段200におけるカフ圧を所定の時間に亘って一定に維持した後、前記血流量計測手段113によって計測される血流量が所定の値となるよう、前記駆血手段200のカフ圧をフィードバック制御する駆血制御手段119とを設ける。これにより、駆血解除後の血流量を所定の値に保って血管内皮への負荷を一定にすることができ、得られる%FMDの値を標準化することができる。
