Abstract

　被検者に対して超音波を送受波しエコー信号を出力する超音波送受波手段１１０，１１１と、前記エコー信号に基づいて診断対象となる血管の断層画像を生成する断層画像生成手段１１２とを備えた血管画像撮像装置において、前記エコー信号に基づいて前記血管の血流量を計測する血流量計測手段１１３と、被検者の体表をカフ２１１で圧迫して前記血管を駆血する駆血手段２００と、前記駆血手段２００におけるカフ圧を所定の時間に亘って一定に維持した後、前記血流量計測手段１１３によって計測される血流量が所定の値となるよう、前記駆血手段２００のカフ圧をフィードバック制御する駆血制御手段１１９とを設ける。これにより、駆血解除後の血流量を所定の値に保って血管内皮への負荷を一定にすることができ、得られる％ＦＭＤの値を標準化することができる。
