Abstract

 本発明は、記憶部に係る故障が発生しても、複数の記憶部間のデータの二重化を保障しながら、記憶部に対する処理要求を早急に再開できるようにするために、データ処理装置(2)からの指示に応じて一の記憶部(11)の所定記憶領域内のデータを他の記憶部(12)にコピーすることにより所定記憶領域内のデータを二重化状態に維持する二重化制御部(26)が、取得部(25)によって装置故障情報が取得されると、二重化制御部(26)の稼働状態を、データ処理装置(2)による処理要求の発行および二重化処理が中断される中断状態に遷移するとともに、装置故障情報に係る装置の復旧が完了すると、稼働状態を中断状態から一時切離し状態、即ち、データ処理装置(2)による処理要求の発行を再開させ処理部(21)による処理要求に応じた処理結果を管理する一方で二重化処理は中断する状態に遷移するように構成する。
