Abstract

 本発明のR-Fe-B系希土類焼結磁石は、軽希土類元素Ndを主たる希土類元素Rとして含有するR2Fe14B型化合物結晶粒を主相として有するR-Fe-B系希土類焼結磁石であって、表面から拡散によって前記焼結磁石に導入された重希土類元素RH(RHはDyおよびTbの少なくとも一方)を含有する。粒界のRリッチ相における重希土類元素RHの濃度は、R2Fe14B型化合物結晶粒の表面における重希土類元素RHの濃度よりも低く、R2Fe14B型化合物結晶粒の中心部における重希土類元素RHの濃度よりも高く調整されている。
