Abstract

 例えばフェノール等の揮発性不純物の含有量が極めて少ないポリカーボネート樹脂を提供する。  芳香族ジヒドロキシ化合物と炭酸ジエステルとのエステル交換反応によって得られ、次の(1)~(3)に記載の条件を満足することを特徴とする芳香族ポリカーボネート樹脂。 (1)粘度平均分子量が13,000~30,000である。 (2)樹脂中に残存する芳香族モノヒドロキシ化合物量及び芳香族ジヒドロキシ化合物量がそれぞれ20ppm以下である。 (3)構造式(1)~(5)の何れか1つ以上の構造単位を含有し、且つ当該構造単位の総量が1,000~6,000ppmである。   【化1】
